Hotel by Wassies

I needed a hotel to rest and change near City Hall as I had a company's event at Fairmont the other day. Although there were many options to choose from I decided to give this new hotel a try. The hotel was conveniently located between Raffles Place, City Hall and Clark Quays MRT. It has easy access to food and bars! Most importantly only 12-15 minutes walk from the event venue. I tried to check in during lunch as I didn't want to bring my items around. Luckily for me, there was a room available and the staff in-charge checked me in. The room was comfortable and there were plenty of natural sunlight. The beds were good enough to rest on. And there is sufficient surface space to put my items. The toilet was rather spacious and they provided soap, shampoo, lotion, showercap, vanity set, slippers and toothbrush. The cafe in the lobby served really nice pastry and drinks. Although it's on the pricier side. I highly recommend the chocolate croissant! Overall, for the price, it was a great hotel to rest in. The only downside was the cleanliness- the sheets had stains and some area of the room was dusty, but it was acceptable if you're looking for a place to rest for a day instead of a staycation.
