Hotel Mi Rochor

I chose the Hotel Mi Rochor for my trip to Singapore with my mom, and we had a great stay in a double room! **Environment:** It's a two-minute walk from Rochor MRT station and about a 10-minute walk from Bugis MRT station, making it super convenient to take the subway to attractions like Marina Bay Sands, Clarke Quay, the Old Hill Street Police Station, and Chinatown. The transportation is excellent, and there are two 7-Eleven convenience stores downstairs. **Service:** The service was incredibly warm and welcoming. Helen at the front desk checked us in smoothly in both Chinese and English. She even gave us a free Chinese map of Singapore and enthusiastically explained transportation routes. All the staff members were very polite. **Facilities:** The hotel room was a little on the small side, but the facilities were complete and very new. You don't even need to bring a travel adapter. There's a swimming pool right below the hotel, and many people were using it in the morning. **Cleanliness:** The room was very clean, and staff came to clean it regularly every day.

Excellent location, with a subway station just 100 meters from the hotel entrance. The front desk staff speak Chinese, so communication was seamless. The hotel is newly opened with perfect facilities and amenities. The air conditioning was powerful and much-needed in Singapore! I will definitely 100% consider this hotel again on my next trip to Singapore!

The room was very clean. Although it was small, it was acceptable and I could still fit my luggage in. The location is excellent; there's a bus stop right outside that goes to many popular attractions. Rochor MRT station is just a short walk away, and Little India station is only about a five-minute walk. My only issue was that my room wasn't cleaned on the second day.

The room was incredibly small, I mean tiny. It was a struggle to even turn around in the shower or open the door. Honestly, the only place you could really be was on the bed, which was quite high, allowing space underneath for luggage. When I checked in, no one spoke Chinese, and the front desk staff had an accent that was hard to understand. The hotel pool was okay, pretty standard for a budget hotel. I heard the Empress Hotel has bigger rooms. The soundproofing was terrible! Absolutely terrible! Couldn't get over how bad it was!

The room and facilities were decent, and the staff provided great service. The shower pressure was a bit weak, and the room was quite small; I couldn't even open my suitcase on the floor and had to keep it on the table. However, the location was super convenient for getting around, with plenty of food and shops nearby. Given the price, it was a good deal. We ended up moving to a hotel that cost twice as much, which was a lot more comfortable.
