The software service was great, but the location is a bit far out, making it inconvenient if you have large luggage and don't take a taxi. The breakfast selection was extensive and plentiful. The evening environment is quiet and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Came to Mandai with the kids and visited 6 parks in three days. Banyan Tree is definitely the best hotel to stay at; the Zoo, Night Safari, and Explorer Centre are all within walking distance. We booked a family room, which was very spacious with comfortable beds – the kids loved it! The breakfast was also especially delicious.

Not bad at all! The entire resort is integrated beautifully with nature, and the ecology is excellent. At night, you can fall asleep to the sound of frogs croaking and insects chirping (if you're sensitive to sound, bring earplugs). Right outside the hotel, there's also a food alley. This is quite convenient for guests visiting the 5 parks, as you can easily pop back to rest for a bit before continuing your exploration.

The pool is too small, and breakfast is sparse. There's no direct subway access. Treehouses 2501 and 2502 offer the best views. It doesn't worth calling 5 star hotels.. the room was quite small for the price that we paid. The TV in the room have to re-set a few times. We were instructed by front desk on the phone to re-set the TV. Quite disappointed.. and the fan automatically turn on in the middle of the night. It gave us quite a chill... Breakfast was not as good .. it really cannot compare to a normal hotel in china/Shanghai which I recently went. The scenery was ok only.. I was expecting a "wow" when I step in this 5 star banyan tree hotel and it was a total opposite.. I won't recommend and I will not spend so much to stay there again.
