Dorsett Changi City Singapore

I stayed here for the Billkin concert, and it was incredibly close to the venue! The room was simple and clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly – no complaints there. The handheld showerhead was broken, but the main shower had great water pressure, and I could easily adjust the hot and cold water. It was surprisingly quiet, not noisy at all. They didn't even ask for a deposit. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I'd definitely choose this place again in the future.

For my trip to Singapore this time, I specifically chose this hotel because it's just one subway stop from Changi Airport – the transportation is incredibly convenient! You can take the MRT directly from the airport, making it a completely hassle-free journey. After checking in, I found the hotel to be much better than expected. The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were relatively new. For this price point, to get such an experience, the value for money is truly excellent. ⚠️ A heads-up for those planning to take a taxi to the airport: A taxi ride costs around 60+ RMB (depending on the time of day), but be aware that searching for "Dorsett Hotel" directly on ride-hailing apps might not give you an accurate location. You *must* manually set the location using the hotel's address, otherwise, the driver might easily go to the wrong place. We used the address to pinpoint our location, and the driver found us very quickly. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I have an early flight or a layover. I highly recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay near Changi Airport!

Stayed in room 821. There were long and short hairs on the pillows and bed, which clearly meant the bedding hadn't been changed. I reported it to the staff, but the service was slow, and their attitude was terrible. Really disappointing.

Extremely close to the airport, I could watch planes taking off and landing in Singapore right from my bed ✈️. It's very convenient from the subway, and the large shopping mall next door is perfect for shopping, browsing, and dining. There was a slight incident: the hotel and the adjacent mall share an alarm system, and on the first night, mall staff accidentally triggered the fire alarm. I was woken up at 3 AM by the continuous English broadcast and felt a bit disoriented. Later, I found out it was a false alarm 😂. But the surrounding area is genuinely very convenient.
