This was my second stay here, and considering the high prices in Singapore, I'm still quite satisfied with this hotel. Its main selling point is its extremely convenient location right by a MRT exit. The breakfast area is also comfortable. Overall, I'm happy with my stay.

Walking around is great. Lots of food. GreatVibe. Close to MRT. Just right next door. China town is just behind. Perfect to be here. Will come back again for sure.

FACTS: - No concierge to help with my luggage at the entrance, even though he saw me with a child and struggling with bags. - The hotel lobby has a torn and dirty couch, which is really uninviting for guests. - The king-bed (1.8m wide) room is smaller than what was pictured on Trip. The king bed was made by combining two single beds, but the mattress topper wasn't good enough, and we could still feel the dip in the middle. - The ceiling lights flickered on our first night, and they had to send a technician to fix it. - The location is right at Exit 4 of the TE EWL NEL. PERSONAL FEELINGS: - Lucent dining feels like a cafeteria setup, which comes across as a bit cheap. - Breakfast was just okay, nothing special to write home about. - Housekeeping might have missed vacuuming our room carpet, as I stepped on some tiny rice crackers.

To get a bit more space, I booked a loft room. The bed was on the upper level, which was quite clean, and the stairs were very sturdy and quiet. The hotel is super close to the subway, making it easy to get around, and convenient for the airport too. The front desk offers Chinese-speaking service, so check-in was a breeze.

The location is fantastic, right above Outram Park MRT station, with a direct escalator to the subway right opposite the hotel entrance, so you don't have to worry about sun or rain. You can walk to Chinatown, Clarke Quay, and Fort Canning Park, and VivoCity is just one stop away. There are also many Chinese restaurants nearby. The room has huge, sparkling clean windows and it's a twin room, which was perfect for me, my mom, and my child. The facilities are decent too, not at all old-fashioned. Every time we came back to the room, the air conditioning was already on and it was nice and cool. We could even get several Chinese TV channels, which my mom and son really enjoyed. The front desk primarily speaks English, but if there was anything I didn't understand, they would clarify in Chinese. I booked a 'pay later' option, and both check-in and check-out were super fast. For check-in, I just handed over my passport, confirmed the room details, and got the key – no deposit needed. For check-out, I simply returned the key. They even proactively asked if I needed to store my luggage. I only received the hotel charge notification after I had already returned to my home country.

The room was clean. Although it was quite old, it was still well maintained and comfortable. On the second night, there was some static noise coming from the electrical system, but the technician responded quickly and fixed the issue. The view from the room was also very nice.

Very cost effective hotel. Right at the foot of this hotel is the Outram Park MRT, which is merely two stops away from Raffles and Merlion. It's definitely a good accommodation option for travel and business trip.

The front desk staff were very rude, and check-in took a long time and was very slow. The bedsheets and duvet covers were dirty, like they hadn't been washed. The bath towels seemed old, as if they were brought over from the pool, and there wasn't even a small hand towel. They also make you check out at 11:00 AM, which even a five-star hotel wouldn't do.

Hotel room is a lil dusty in some corners but overall it was okay and was able to get good rest during my stay. Hotel staff was very helpful and the location is perfect super close to the bus stop and subways and a 10 min walk from Chinatown. Also was surprised to see a little desktop style vending machine that has some basic trip necessities and other itemsyou can purchase right from your room which was kind of cool.

Some Staff don’t have service mind she don’t care customer and bad service. I like your hotel but need to improve reception staff will be better

Room was spacious and clean and all amenities was provided 😍 The sound proofing was good and the staff was very polite during the check in, location was very near outram park mrt and it's highly recommended for everyone to stay here 🥰🥰

Clean, next to MRT station, adjacent to Tanjung Pagar where houses good restaurants and gelato ice cream.

The room was clean and the air conditioning was very cold. The hotel is close to Chinatown, with many restaurants nearby. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, actively resolving my internet issues. The only minor drawback was that the shower water took a while to get hot.

This photo is from my room view. An important things to said if you drive can just consider other hotel. This hotel did not provide free parking as you know the town areas parking at Singapore are expensive. But this suitable who will take mrt, is just right below the hotel which is outram park. The pool have made my mom a bit disappointed because of not really have good maintenance since this is a 4 star global hotel, really cannot compare with Dorsett KL😌 I have met a front service counter staff, I hope she is just tired, because she looks like we owe her. She is very good on speaking mandarin and just nice this hotel nearby Chinatown. Might have a lot of mandarin users.
