Swissotel The Stamford Singapore

The room was okay, but my friends booked theirs through another platform and got a cheaper rate. Their room was on the 59th floor with a view of the Merlion and Marina Bay Sands, while ours was on the 14th floor, only looking out onto other buildings. There was at least a 1000-yuan difference in value, which is really unfair!

The room was quite spacious and clean. However, the shower leaked, leaving the bathroom floor all wet after a shower. The facilities and equipment were a bit dated, but the service was excellent. The night view was beautiful.

I spent almost $14,000 at this hotel over six months, only to be met with incredible indifference! Besides the decent view, there's nothing else noteworthy. The shower is in the bathtub, high-speed Wi-Fi requires mandatory registration with a third-party, the staff are insincere, and they can't correct check-in name errors, let alone change dates or cancel bookings! The opportunity cost is very high, completely unsuitable for business travelers!

Right outside City Hall MRT station, with Raffles City shopping mall downstairs and the Raffles Hotel next door. Most attractions are within walking distance, which is incredibly convenient. The breakfast is also quite good.

The hotel's location is excellent, offering distant views of Marina Bay Sands and the Merlion. Downstairs, you'll find a mall and the subway, making it incredibly convenient for visiting attractions. The facilities are also great. I stayed for two nights and was quite satisfied with both the bathroom and the bedding.

Getting to the hotel from the airport is a breeze; just take the Green Line. The hotel is super close to the MRT station, literally right outside the exit. Below the hotel, there's a mall with Ya Kun Kaya Toast for breakfast, a supermarket, and a food court on the third floor – perfect for grabbing takeout when you don't feel like eating out. We stayed in a twin room, and the beds were huge, easily accommodating two adults each. Our room also had a balcony with a great view of the Marina Bay Sands at night. Housekeeping was prompt too. Breakfast is on the second floor; there aren't many Chinese options, and you might have to queue during peak hours. The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! You can walk to many city attractions like the Art Museum, churches, Ginza Restaurant, Merlion, and Fort Canning. Chinatown and 99 Old Trees Durian are just a few MRT stops away, and Suntec City for the Duck Tours is also within walking distance. I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

The hotel's location is superb, right above Raffles City. With both green and red MRT lines accessible downstairs, it's incredibly convenient whether you're coming from the airport or heading to Sentosa. Many city attractions are also within walking distance. Both check-in and check-out were handled by staff; I didn't encounter any self-service options. While some staff didn't speak Mandarin, their attitude was consistently good. I booked a Marina Swiss Twin room. 'Marina' means you get views towards Marina Bay Sands, and 'Swiss' indicates a high floor, specifically above the 39th. I was assigned room #58 on the 52nd floor. It was slightly off-center; the main view was of the office buildings, with a church directly below. Marina Bay Sands was to the left, and being so high up, it was a little daunting to look down. The twin beds were 1.37 meters wide, perfectly fine for sleeping with a child. I tried two breakfast options. Clove is right off the elevator and always had a queue, but it moved quickly. They offer a wider variety of food. Asian is a bit further; after exiting the elevator, turn left past Starbucks, then right to the end. A Clove staff member was very helpful; I just casually asked, and she immediately led me there. Asian offers some interesting Southeast Asian pastries worth trying. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this hotel.

Highly recommend! This hotel is in a prime downtown location, right above City Hall MRT station and Raffles City shopping mall. You can walk to Merlion Park and Marina Bay Sands. Our high-floor room had a balcony with a direct view of the Marina Bay Sands night lights – absolutely stunning! The front desk staff spoke Chinese and were incredibly helpful. The room itself was clean and spacious. It made getting around and finding food super convenient. I definitely recommend this place!
