Sofitel Properties in Singapore

I had a short one night staycation there. Service was great, except check in took quite some time. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet which has quite a good spread, including live stations. The location is a bit far in, which is nearer to nature and quietness. The shuttle buses provided the convenience to get to other places. That said, some amenities are dated. For example, the bathtub could do with a handle so that it’s safer and easier for individuals to get in and out. The door to the bathroom is somewhat faulty. Other than that, quite an enjoyable stay.

It's been over two years since my last stay, and everything is still just as convenient. The green metro line takes you directly to the hotel, and the elevator goes straight to the lobby. This time I spent Christmas alone, which allowed me to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. The breakfast pretty much caters to all tastes, and the restaurant is well-spaced, so it never feels crowded. Even during peak breakfast hours, you don't have to wait for a table. There's a Booster bar on B2, which is great for a drink after a long day of shopping.
