The surroundings are very quiet, and there are plenty of dining options and bars. The location is excellent, with a bus stop nearby, making transportation convenient. It's also not far from the airport, and the staff are very enthusiastic.
Good price. Good location, near Lavender MRT. Near beach rd golden mile foodcourt: shiok hokkien mee, roasted meat chicken rice, sugar cane juice, wonton mee. Near bugis junction. 2 queen beds 150cm x2 = 300cm. Fast check-out. Baggage storage available. But a bit noisy in the morning, people talking and walking in corridor outside room.
The room was a bit small, but it had everything I needed, and the location was fantastic! It's right on Joo Chiat Road, and you can easily walk to East Coast Park. Common Man is directly across the street. Plus, the front desk offered green apples every day – definitely a big plus!
I chose the Hotel Mi Rochor for my trip to Singapore with my mom, and we had a great stay in a double room!
**Environment:** It's a two-minute walk from Rochor MRT station and about a 10-minute walk from Bugis MRT station, making it super convenient to take the subway to attractions like Marina Bay Sands, Clarke Quay, the Old Hill Street Police Station, and Chinatown. The transportation is excellent, and there are two 7-Eleven convenience stores downstairs.
**Service:** The service was incredibly warm and welcoming. Helen at the front desk checked us in smoothly in both Chinese and English. She even gave us a free Chinese map of Singapore and enthusiastically explained transportation routes. All the staff members were very polite.
**Facilities:** The hotel room was a little on the small side, but the facilities were complete and very new. You don't even need to bring a travel adapter. There's a swimming pool right below the hotel, and many people were using it in the morning.
**Cleanliness:** The room was very clean, and staff came to clean it regularly every day.

This was my first time in Singapore and my first hotel booking, and it was great value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore. Celvin and Ainee provided excellent service. It's not that I can't afford other hotels in Singapore; it's just that Hotel 81 Palace offers better value. Highly recommended!

The location is convenient, about a ten-minute walk from Aljunied MRT station. There are many restaurants downstairs. The front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and tidy, and overall it was good.
The bathroom in the room doesn't have a separate wet and dry area, so the floor gets wet easily. The hotel's area is generally quiet, but on that day, I'm not sure where in the hotel there was renovation work happening, as there were frequent drilling noises, which was a bit disruptive. The soundproofing of the hotel room door isn't very good either; I could clearly hear other rooms opening and closing, other guests chatting in the hallway, and staff doing housekeeping.

The location is excellent. You exit Bugis MRT Station (Blue Line) and walk up the ramp, and it's about 30 meters ahead. There's also a Yellow Line MRT station nearby. Plenty of 7-Eleven stores and hawker centers in the vicinity. Fort Canning Park, Old Hill Street Police Station, Clarke Quay, and Chijmes are all within walking distance, and other popular attractions are easily accessible. The room itself is quite small with a sealed window. No comb or bottled water, but there are coffee and tea bags, and a filtered water tap. If you need cleaning or fresh towels, you have to place a specific sign on the bed, otherwise, they won't come. There are no hand towels, but you can ask the front desk for disposable face towels. The shower water pressure is great, but the bathroom is tiny. The front desk service is very good, with staff who speak Chinese, especially a young lady surnamed Chen who was very kind and friendly.
Amazing location, just a few minutes walk from:
✅ Award Winning 🥇 Loy Kee Chicken Rice
✅ Shaw Plaza
✅ Ya Kun Kaya Toast
Room is quite small, but bed is comfortable.
Suitable for traveller who spends most of the day time exploring Singapore & just need a place to sleep at night.

I recently spent 2 nights at this hotel while holidaying in Singapore. The service at the front desk was exceptional; the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive to my needs. My room was spotless and, while compact, it felt cozy and functional. The air conditioning was excellent, and the room was fully equipped with all the essentials. Considering the affordable price and its proximity to the MRT and local eateries, I find this hotel to be a great value for money. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserIt’s close to the MTR station, and the staff are quite polite and helpful!
AAnonymous UserHad a really good stay. The front desk staff were accommodating, patient, and helpful with all our questions, especially on transport and how to get to tourist spots. They also allowed us to check in early since our travel schedule changed, which we really appreciated. Overall, a convenient and budget-friendly place to stay with friends, made better by staff who were easy to deal with and supportive.
GGuest UserThey all said it was ***, but I didn't see anything when I went there. All I could tell was that it was full of Vietnamese girls. I saw Minghui Frog had over 4000 saves on Baidu Maps, so I walked three minutes to get there. The taste was just so-so, and they also charged a service fee and tax.
For those who are scared, those Indians really do look like NPCs in a game, standing on every street corner or lawn, not sure what they're doing. Their gaze is a bit unsettling. Other than that, everything else was fine.
The Indians who come to Singapore are all a bit ambitious. It's no different from us going to Dongguan to work as factory girls.
Tomorrow, I'm planning to go directly to Little India.
PS: My partner and I traveled together. She felt a little scared, but not much.
NNuha MuneerahI booked a queen room and upon checked in, my husband and I were upgraded to a much bigger room which might be a honeymoon suite 😍
Simple amenities provided. Shower gel, dental kit & towels.
However, mattress was a bit hard, so it is quite uncomfortable for me on the first night— unable to have proper sleep 😣 I also wish to have an extra pillows
Location is 💯 Close to Geylang market, halal food stores & walkable distance to MRT Paya Lebar
JJillianaaThe hotel was conveniently located and is easily found. My room was large and it made movement within the room very convenient. The bed was large and very comfortable and I like the colour and the decor in the room. I found the Reception Staff very friendly, fast and obliging.

CCINLLY TANWell, for this price, it is what it is—a bit old, no surprise there. But the staff at the front desk were really nice. The AC wasn't adjustable, and my toothpaste tube was open without a cap, so brushing my teeth was a struggle. Plus, there's a full-wall mirror in the room, which was a bit spooky for a solo traveler.

GGuest UserThe nearest MRT Station is Little India but u hv to come out in collect way fr this MRT Station.
Better to find out fr information counter for the way.
We come out fr wrong exit make us can’t reach hotel. Actually it’s can reach hotel in 2 mins if u got the right exit.
Room is small but quite clean. No bottle water supply only hv filter tap water fr toilet. Have kettle.
If u don’t mind stay in a simple & budget hotel, it is alright to stay
GgracezouzouExcellent value for money! For the price, this hotel offers a fantastic experience in a prime Singapore location where space is at a premium.
The room, though compact, is well-designed, clean, and tidy. Our triple room had one large bed and one small bed. We did have a window, but it was always dark, likely a false window.
The bathroom is a bit small, and there's no complimentary bottled water, though a kettle is provided. (Most Singapore hotels don't offer bottled water anyway).
The location is superb, and the surroundings are quite pleasant. It's within walking distance to Paya Lebar MRT station. Right opposite is a Malay food court, and there are some Indian restaurants nearby. However, if you prefer Chinese food, you might want to be cautious. We walked about 15 minutes to the nearest Ya Kun Kaya Toast, which is right by the MRT station!
Front desk service was excellent, with staff able to communicate fluently in Mandarin. Check-in was efficient, and luggage storage was convenient.
