I travelled here on my own for the West Ham game - perfect location for me near the train station and in a lovely street near the middle of town. I think I had the superior room which was plenty big enough. Spacious actually. Great service from the staff would recommend.

Aankomend zien we een gebouw dat aan renovatie toe is. De foto bij onze boeking deed eerlijk gezegd beter vermoeden. Parkeren makkelijk, en ook elektrisch laden goed verzorgd. Ontvangst hartelijk. Alle medewerkers doen echt hun best de gasten een fijne ervaring te bezorgen. Kamer redelijk goed. Fijne douche, acceptabel bed en ogenschijnlijk allemaal schoon. Ook hier - met als binnen het hele gebouw - wel wat renovatie wenselijk. Ontbijt prima en ruim. Extra compliment voor de koffie. Heerlijke start van de dag. Kortom: het prima personeel verdient een mooie gerenoveerde omgeving. Tegelijkertijd zullen we dan niet mee voor 75 euro kunnen boeken. Dus als waar is naar z’n geld.

The town hotel facilities are quite complete.

We took a sate, and asked for a full red wine. The service advised a certain wine we agreed with. When we then got the bill, the wine was €8.00 per glass!!!!!! We find it obviously ridiculous and incredibly unfriendly for the customer that the service advises a wine but not mentioning that the wine is €8.00 per glass. We find this rather overdrived by a satin and I think that a cheaper wine would have been good too. In addition, for a €8.00 wine, I think that the bottle should have been given to the table in the glass and tested. This is now the 2nd bad experience (the first time was with a cup of coffee for which it was later found to be paid expensive, also unannounced) Be open and fair to the customer and let them decide what they want to spend their money so they don't get a bill for something they wouldn't agree with!!!
