Located along the road between Kalanga and Siteki, this hotel is at the end of a side unpaved road of approximately 200m. The structure is very nice even if with the furniture dated over time and a little bit dusty. When we arrived we were the only customers apart from a person who had been there for some time for working reasons. We took one of the two rooms with the view of the valley below. The room was large with a double bed equipped with a mosquito net, a large bathroom and beyond the large front window there was a terrace where we could sit and watch the great view and a really beautiful sunset over the valley below. Unfortunately there was no table or desk and chair to use the computer or write in the room while the bathroom was poorly maintained. The staff, always very kind, disappeared shortly after asking us what time we wanted dinner and letting us choose from the menu, so we had to go and knock on the kitchen door. The very cheap dinner, served us in a very kind and spontaneous way by the lady who was in the kitchen, had meat a little bit too hard to chew on and so we decided not to have dinner at the hotel on the second night. However, we realize that probably the fact that we were the only customers could perhaps partly justify this situation and the limited presence of the staff in those days. This is a structure that has great potential and, even if we don't know how it could be in periods of greater tourist presence, it might perhaps require some boost in management.
