Merici Hotel Sittard

Really good hotel! I’ve stayed here several times and always have a great experience. The rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the location is excellent. I keep coming back because the quality and service are consistently good. Highly recommended!

I have stayed at Merici Sittard to attend a conference in Maastricht. I was pleasantly surprised by the scenery around the hotel and the responsive staff members throughout my stay. I am glad that I chose to stay in Sittard and at this hotel. I recommend this hotel if you are visiting the Limburg region.

The newly renovated monastery is a historic building and a special place. There is an entrance to the hotel from the underground parking garage Oda. There is a good restaurant with tasty food. There are no bottles of water in the room. According to the receptionist, the water from the tap is drinkable. However, we couldn't find any information about it in the room. There is scale in the kettle. Although this is a common occurrence in most hotels. There are also no toiletries. For a hotel of this category, this would be expected.

Absolutely lovely place. Booked one of the loft rooms with the stairs. It’s quiet unless you get someone next door who is noisier as the insulation isn’t great. Two nights were peaceful and one night was noisy as a family with kids was next door and you could hear everything. So there’s a bit of luck involved as to the sound experience but the place is wonderful as are the staff.

Great hotel, great food. Amazingly, the building used to be a Monastary, and great architecture was visible in the ceiling arches at breakfast.
