L'accueil est sympathique, une chambre petite mais propre et confortable, une bonne restauration, en résumé un très bon rapport qualité prix pour une étape sur le GR5. Et pout une modeste contribution supplémentaire, l'aubergiste met à disposition sa machine à laver. Un gite à recommander .

Le gîte est bien équipé et bien placé sur le parcours du GR5. Le gérant est plutôt sympathique. ATTENTION : - les chambres ne sont pas accessibles avant 17h. Il faudrait vraiment faire un effort sur ce point en avançant l’ouverture à 15h par exemple comme c’est le cas dans la plupart des établissements - le dîner était très léger : pommes de terre cuite à l’eau avec une sorte de bibeleskaes

Gite au confort basique (douche, WC palier) mais très propre et lavabo dans chambre . Excellent rapport qualité/prix pour une étape entre 2 rando ! Drap fourni , serviette en sup ou apporter son drap de bain ! Adaptation pour végétariens et accueil chaleureux. Parking à côté du gîte. Ouverture à 17h tout à fait raisonnable, accès au jardin du gîte pour patienter si besoin ! Petit déjeuner entre 7h30 et 8h30 ok avant rando..s il faut noter un petit bemol;) un petit morceau de fromage serait bienvenu ! Grande salle de détente (frigo et bouilloire à dispo)et jardin. Sympathique adresse. Nous reviendrons !

We were a group of nine trekkers and after 5 nights of staying in basic refuges in dormitories, the simple but clean private rooms with basin were just what we needed. The beds were comfortable, the shared showers hot and plentiful and the food excellent. The hosts were attentive to our needs and provided good service, including great vegetarian meals for two of our group. Our stay was good value and we appreciated the extras like use of a washing machine and a garden at the back of the gite.

Great location for hiking the GR5 as it is right on the route. But 1. The rooms are noisy as they overlook the road and there is traffic driving past. The doors are thin so you can hear people in the corridor. 2. You cannot get into the room until 5.00pm which is a problem if you arrive in the middle of the afternoon 3. The food is awful 4. There are no towels even though the website says they have them 5. The room is very basic and the bed is very hard and uncomfortable to sleep in. It's such a shame because there are so many other great refuges on the GR5.

Quatrieme séjour au gite-auberge de Salvagny, et toujours un très bon accueil : chambres confortables, grands espaces collectifs, repas tres bons avec adaptations / végétariens. Calme et propre. Les hôtes sont très chaleureux, l'emplacement est idéal pour découvrir les trésors naturels de Sixt : randonnées, ballades, rafting, vélo ... Nous recommandons !
