Thon Hotel Snø

The parking is far away, and the price feels like you’re paying for parking your car inside the room. There was not even a bottle of water in the room. Even though the COVID period ended quite some time ago, the minibar is still completely empty. I could not find any welcome drink in the room either, meaning no water was provided at all. When I went to take a shower, I noticed that the shower gel and shampoo were missing – the bottles simply had not been refilled, so I had to wash using hand soap instead. On a positive note, I really liked the breakfast – it had a wide and varied selection. However, overall I don’t see what justifies the price. It feels far from reality and not worth the money. Also, operating the room door lock is unnecessarily complicated. It feels like you need a course to understand whether the door is actually locked, and there is ko no clear additional lock inside the room, which is confusing. If you have the option, I strongly recommend choosing a different hotel.

Atmosphere was very welcoming. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was in the room which was mentioned in the description. Buffet breakfast was brilliant. It was full of choice cooked and non cooked food. Hotel is well managed. Well done to the staff and their hard work. One thing I missed that there was no milk available to take in the room to use for tea/coffee. No big bottle of water to buy because only small water were available.

The hotel is very good, clean and green. I will surely visit Oslo again because of the hotel. Their customer service is very good and their breakfast buffet is the best. I and my woman really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. 5 stars is what I can give in all ramifications.

the hotel was very nice, clean and the service from the reception staff was brilliant. The breakfast was absolutely brilliant. The only issue we had was the service in the restaurant at the hotel was not the best and we were told we had to wait over 2 hours for a table despite being told we didn't need to book as we were staying, and there were empty tables that never got filled.

Wonderful and fantastic hotel. I stayed uppermost all inclusive hotels in Turkey many times and I wittnessed such a good breakfast rarely. Celebrating them for such a good job. They also helped us and my children to see the ski resort and I think I will visit this facility for only ski next time. One thing I can criticize is the lack of the guidance for reaching to the hotel form Lorenskog train station because the ramps are very tiring for people with luggages. Fortunately a Norwegian citizen got our condition and directed us to the back of the hotel and saved us from going ramping up. Also there is no public transport from Lorenskog train station to such a good hotel. I hope they consider my opinions and take care about that.
