It was a spacious room, nice and comfortable mattress. Although it is next to the main road, it was quiet at night.
Lovely view to the back, they call it river view. It is a cannel where had a lot of ducks, geese and swan swimming up and down.
A good place to stay.

One of the best things about this hotel is the staff. I can't fault them at all. They were all warm, friendly and working very hard to make this hotel a success. The evening meal is good as is the breakfast. The position of the restaurant overlooking the canal and the countryside opposite is a real plus. There is a fitness centre and pool which is nice to have. The Saturday night entertainment in the bar is great and the singer was excellent. However, the down side of this hotel is that it needs considerable refurbishment. In particular the bedrooms, the bathrooms and corridors need a real lift. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed in a deluxe suite which was pretty average overall and not really very luxurious. Although spacious, the room was a bit tired and not sparking clean with lots of dust in the corners.

Been here a few times now, and everytime we go we get just as excited as the first time! Everything was perfect! The location of the restaurant is amazing. You get to see the barges go past, aswell as lambs over the field. The food and service was spot on, the young girl Sana running the restaurant was lovely and so friendly, she looked after us for the 3 nights and made sure everything was perfect for us, as she did with all the other tables in the restaurant. We didn’t manage to see her on the next night, but please pass on our greatest thank you to her for making it such a wonderful break.

I stayed here with friends at the weekend and we had a mix up on the rooms from the booking company. James the Manager was superb and although we remained in the allocated rooms, he went out of his way to ensure we had a good stay. The rooms are a bit gloomy and need better quality furnishings however the room and bathroom were spotless. The breakfast was very tasty with quality products being offered. It's a hotel with huge potential.
