Hotel in the old building, needs refreshment in several locations. The bathroom in the room as well as the room of the summer of greatness is behind it but clean and clean. Nice service, good breakfast. You can't live near the center. You can see the maintenance or owner of the facility to make everything look as good as it is. An interesting idea (except quite popular in Denmark), the minibar is right next to the reception (big refrigerator with beer, alcohol + sweets, chips), guests themselves share and write down what they took and then calculate when checking out.

Das Palads Hotel ist zentral gelegen - in Bahnhofsnähe und bei der Fussgängerzone. Es eignet sich ideal als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und insbesondere auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Wir verbrachten einige Nächte in einem schon etwas in die Jahre gekommenen, aber sehr gut erhaltenen grossen Zimmer mit Kochnische (inkl. Wasserkocher, Kaffeeautomat und einem wirklich grosszügigen Angebot an Tees und Kaffees). Das Zimmer war u.a. mit einem Bügeleisen und -brett ausgestattet und im Schrank befanden sich genügend Kleiderbügel. Das geräumige Badezimmer wird vermutlich mittels Bodenheizung gewärmt, es war jedenfalls immer sehr angenehm warm. Kleiner, aber vernachlässigbarer Mangel: Das Duschwasser hätte an manchen Tagen etwas wärmer sein können. Vom Frühstücksbuffet (bis 10 Uhr) und dem tollen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis waren wir ebenfalls positiv überrascht. Vielen Dank an die freundlichen Mitarbeitenden - wir behalten unseren Aufenthalt bei Ihnen in sehr guter Erinnerungen.

A nice hotel, a bit outside the city center. It looks cool and modern, and is very clean. The room was very cold though, and temperature could only be raised via the AC. After 4 hours it had only increased by 1.5 degrees. The friendly receptionist offered to search for another room when I finally complained, but made clear, that it probably wouldn’t be warmer in other rooms. Breakfast wasn’t included in the room rate (and couldn’t be added, it had to be purchased on-site). The price was crazy with 175kr, that quite annoyed me.
