Pollfoss Boutique Hotel & Spa

We spent one wonderful night at the Pollfoss Hotel on 20th June. It's in a stunning location and our room had an amazing view over the river and the countryside beyond. The room was spacious, clean and the bed really comfortable, so we both slept well. We had dinner that night which was great and then the fab buffet breakfast the following morning. Perhaps more importantly, it is the team that run the hotel that make it really special. We had an amazing welcome from the manager on our arrival and the rest of the team couldn't have been kinder. As an example, we had a very minor issue with the room, but the manager could not have been nicer and sorted it immediately. If we are lucky enough to come this way next year, we will make sure we stay here again. Highly recommended!

This hotel is very unique and has a special feel about it. We were met warmly on arrival and we found the experience with the staff throughout our stay to be consistently of a high standard. We were lucky enough to have a room with a view of the river, which was loud but not at all intrusive. The facilities are simple, given the location, but everything was functional and the spa facilities looked fantastic (unfortunately we didn't have enough time to try them). We loved the restaurant, which offers a variety of local foods, and the service was quick and without issue. The breakfast in the restaurant was a simple affair, but it was tasty and provided enough to satisfy us for the morning. We enjoyed the location and the surroundings of the hotel, with walking tracks and nature to be found in every direction.

Beautifully located hotel with a beautiful view of a waterfall. We received a very warm welcome from the owner and the staff was also very friendly The hotel is beautifully centrally located, so you can make great day trips to Lom or Briksdalbreen, for example Highly recommended
