booking with this hotel came with a couple of surprises, the most upsetting one was calling in to ask what facilities they had, hearing of the sauna was the biggest perk; then after booking and arriving at the hotel come to find that the sauna was closed- somewhat disappointing (considering the reviews on the pool at Super 8 were somewhat "cringy") then upon arriving in the room the TV didn't work. So overall the kids were rather disappointed, therefore so was I.
And in the past one booking with services online paying with my credit card meant not having to pay deposit, I don't know if that's a common thing for people or not but it kind of came as a shock to me that it didn't state anything about it nor was anything previously mentioned when I had called the hotel before booking. Other then those minor issues..... it was a place to sleep....

The property is disgustingly dirty. The showers are covered in scum. The non smoking rooms smell like 60 years of heavy cigarette smoke. The mattress appears to be used and abused. Towels are hard. Pillows are circles.

Smelled like cigarette smoke in the room. If these walls could talk I’m sure they’d puke. This is a last resort booking. Rooms need an overhaul. Terrible mattress and pillows.

It was a decent place to stay. It’s an older motel. Clean room that I was in. Room was cleaned daily. It’s a top of the line motel but it does in a pinch if you only need a night or two stay

Last minute stop and they were very accommodating. Quiet room and free parking. The place needs updating, but I think they are aware of that already. Has that 80’s vibe and still smell of the same smoke. At the end of the day, I slept well.

This hotel is very uncared for, I’m not sure they invest any of the money back into it at all.
The beds and furniture probably have not been updated since the hotel was built. The heater in the room is very loud and I could not sleep with it on. TV remote did not work. Shower/Tub looks like it’s from the 90’s. It’s a good thing I brought my own blanket and pillow because there is no way I would have climbed in that bed. Don’t waste your money on this place.

They defrauded me damage deposit of $100 on visa payment. Unreturned. I did not authorize them to use my Visa card.
They made me put $300 cash on top of the $100 security they took without my authorization when I told them clearly, I will pay in cash instead.
The heater did not work, the lights did not work. The windows were busted. They only cleaned the room once for a four night stay.
Most of the time, there was no one at front desk.
