An absolutely beautiful property which I would highly recommend visiting. The experience was slightly adversely effected by a cold room due to the lack of adequately sized radiators (although to be fair the staff provided a fan heater when we mentioned the issue); and a lack of hot water. The walk was also hindered by fallen trees.

Stunning place, lovely room and facilities. The grounds are like something from a film. It is a huge shame the place is not run well.
There were 2 of us in the dining room for dinner, but the main course i had was not as described and my mum's food arrived cold. When we raised our concerns the staff were not very apologetic. It was sadly a massive disappoin**ent. I made them aware i was not paying for my mum's main course and they eventually took it off the bill.
However, breakfast was lovely and the grounds were outstanding.

We had a lovely room which was actually two rooms and a huge bathroom, with so much space. There was no food on the Tuesday night so went and found a local pub (the bush inn). Had a meal here on the Wednesday night (Valentine's) which was lovely, they obviously go for taste over quantity. The grounds and walks are beautiful even in winter. Staff very friendly and accommodating.

One word wraps it up for me. A piece of paradise. From driving up to the entrance to checking out, it was everything I needed it to be, a sanctuary for rest and recovery. The landscape is breathtakingly beautiful, the room was airy and light, the food was divine and staff were kind and approachable.

We stopped by for two nights so we could visit Skomer Island. We arrived late at night and instructions and our key card were helpfully left outside for us. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfy. We had lovely big patio doors that overlooked the garden. It was extremely tranquil. At 5am-ish though there was an orchestra of birds which we personally enjoyed but if you're a light sleeper you might want to bring your ear plugs. The fact you can have breakfast delivered to your room as part of your rate is brilliant. It was lovely to have a lay in on the Sunday and not have to go hungry. It's well situated for exploring Haverford West and all around the coast. We will definitely be back if staying in the area!

What’s fantastic place to stay in glorious surroundings. We stayed in converted stables which was quite cool and very quirky. A really unique experience. Very clean and spacious and a very relaxing spot. Went rambling on the vast grounds and its great woodland/waterside surroundings. Breakfast was plentiful and well done. Restaurant and reception staff were lovely and helpful - All in all no complaints, would definitely stay again, thank you 😊

I feel hugely disappointed to write this review as had stayed at this hotel in the past ..which can only be referred to now as its hay day. Look at previous reviews and ours will echo this. I really wouldn't be surprised if the hotel is on the verge of closure. We wrote to the hotel after our stay and didn't even receive a response which is shocking in itself . A birthday celebration which was a waste of money. Sad state of repair. Young staff. Minimal staff. Mediocre rooms and restaurant food poor. Certainly not worth the money or the luxury status it proclaims Please don't go..you will be disappointed and out of pocket
