Lovely hotel. Very clean. Staff are friendly. Love the little lounge on the second floor. Really relaxing to go up there and read. I deal location for our needs.

Great one night stay and great fairy trail for the children!! The staff were welcoming and helpful and food was fantastic!! Will defo come back for longer next time in area!

Lovely hotel with friendly welcoming staff.
Room was clean & comfortable. Good selection of food choices for breakfast. Would definitely recommend it for a weekend stay

The service was really good they were so helpful and upgraded our room free of charge which came with added touches such as robes and chocolates. The jacuzzi and pool was very enjoyable and bar food was so good. Would definitly stay again. Will recommend to friends and family.

It’s not a 4 star hotel. Appearance in the lobby would past but bedrooms do not. We may have gotten very unlucky but I’m not so sure so many things can go wrong without their being a trend. Check in - arrived at 2:15, acknowledged we were early but thought we’d check on the off chance the room was ready. Told it wasn’t but would be shortly if we wanted to wait. It was 4:15 when we eventually got in… we would have left the hotel sooner and checked in later had they just told us it would be 2 hours. Bar food - we order soup / sandwiches. This is the first time in my life I refused to pay for food. A toasted sandwich came out, the cheese wasn’t melted so had barely seen a toaster but the butter was so thick we were able to scrap it off and show staff. The soup was also inedible. To top it off, it was left on the table for almost an hour before anyone came near us. Overnight - woken up at 7am but excessive noise upstairs. Rang reception at 7:20 to complain, told it was porters moving bags, noise continued until almost 8am. When that noise stopped someone started hoovering in the hallway outside. It’s now 8:20am and someone is drilling. It’s like faulty towers. I’m disgusted I paid for this. Given a generous 2 stars because the staff we spoke to seemed embarrassed and tried to help. Unfortunately they couldn’t give us back our time.

We recently stayed at this hotel set in a lovely location. The rooms, facilities, staff and overall atmosphere in the hotel is top notch. However, I have to mention that their restaurant and bar management left a lot to be desired. It seemed like they were understaffed, and the quality of service suffered because of it. Unfortunately we were served undercooked food and our wait times for being served directly by staff members exceeded 20 minutes on both occasions that we opted to eat in the bar and the restaurant. We also noticed that a group who were staying at the hotel were receiving priority attention from serving staff even though we were equally paying customers. It was such a shame because the overall experience could have been a whole lot better.
