The property features a stunning location with ski-in/ski-out access and proximity to local activities, but guests find the parking and overall pricing unreasonable despite enjoying the fresh breakfast options.

Great location, service, best snow and skiing in the world. My family has been visiting a few times year for the last 20 years.

The room service did not clean the room every day. The elevators were not always working.

I love Snowbird for skiing and the Cliff lodge for its convenience, location, ease of use of lockers and ski-in ski-out, multiple restaurants on site. Shuttle service from and to airport is very convenient. This was our second time staying here and will stay again.

This place is really disappointing. It's not my first time at the Cliff Lodge but it will definitely be my last. Next time I'll be trying the Rustler or Snowpine Lodge over at Alta. The staff is discourteous, and even rude; the already expensive rooms do not include room service without an additional substantial fee. The food is lackluster and the service at the restaurant (where you're essentially stuck) is just plain bad. The rooms and the entire place are dated, the carpet is dirty, the hallways are dingy.

I called down to front desk, which, transferred myself to someone, supposedly in charge. There was excessive noise coming from the room beside us. They we’re Playing loud music and their communication level was to the point of yelling, at many points in time. My son(11) and myself arrived with less than 3hours sleep from the previous night, due to a very long travel day. However, instead of looking into the matter and requesting a reason volume level, I was told too bad the quiet hours start at 10pm. So very disappointing for what is supposed to be a 5star accommodations, specifically at $1000 per night. Also, the heating system was certainly not functioning properly with the room temperature, upon arrival 69.7*F. I personally prefer 73*F, which it was set to, but instead of heating while sleeping(with my AirPods on noise cancelling) it dropped to 67.9*F. I went down to the front desk to ask if their was a solution to the situation. Just an FYI, to override the system you will have to push the home button, then temperature setting, then the home button again (hopefully this works). I would have thought that this should be standard information passed along to each and every customer. The silver lining is that this room was for one night and then we transfer to another room for the week. Very disappointing!!

We stayed on the 9th floor, the spa level. It was a beautiful spacious room. The beds was so comfortable and the sheets felt amazing. The Mountain View was incredible! We loved having our room on the spa level which is so close to the pool, spa area which includes sauna, co-ed steam room, yoga, exercise room, outdoor pool and hot tub. We did a yoga class. Tiffany was our yoga instructor. She was so nice and welcoming. We loved her yoga class! It was a nice stretch, also very relaxing and we felt amazing after the class was over. We look forward to going back to stay at the Cliff at Snowbird.

This place has gone DOWN HILL. Pretty much everything about it was bad. •Snowbird is a far inferior mountain to Alta, and our plan was to ski every day out the door of the Cliff lodge (the only reason we booked it is the ski-on/off access), but the only way to ski over was closed every single day of our week-long visit. Which made this not a ski-on/off place for us and we instead had to drive over to Alta. •the service was AWFUL; everything from check in to check out was bad. We had an injured skier who was in the hospital on our last night of the trip and we had SIX rooms in our group- they wouldn't give us a late check out on any one single group so that we could regroup when we got the injured skier out of the hospital. Then, after telling us checkout was at 10am, they still sent cleaning people to our room at 8:30am who told us that we needed to be out of the room and checked out already. We also had 2 packages delivered for work during our stay, both of which were misplaced for a period of time before they could locate them and give them to us. When they found them, they didn't call us or deliver them to our room... they made us come back down to the front desk, that told us to go to the bell desk, who directed us back to the front desk... and on an on a few times. •there are only two places to eat. the downstairs restaurant is absolutely inedible. The upstairs restaurant only has about 6 things to eat, and they're out of most of them - and were even out of BREAD on our second night. They are also out of straws. This is all just the beginning. Go stay at the Rustler or the Snowpine lodge over at Alta... they're both much nicer and that's where I'll be staying going forward.

We return to Snowbird year after year. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you go in the summer, beware that the timeshare rooms have no air conditioning. We take a portable swamp cooler and it cools our room down nicely for sleeping. They must have updated the bed recently because we got the best sleep. If you want to stay in a place with shopping, this isn’t your place. They have a few small stores and selection is limited. There is a grocery store down in Sandy to stock up on your needs. What I like most about this place are the views, hiking trails, and peace and quiet.

Just returned from a guys trip to ski Snowbird and Alta. First time staying at the Cliff Lodge. The hotel was updated within the past few years and is pretty swanky compared to other Snowbird lodging options. Arrived early from my flight and the room was ready. My room had two queen beds and was comfortable. The shower though did not drain well, when done using it would have a couple inches of scuzzy water in it. After a while it almost seemed as if sand was coming up? There was no housekeeping during the stay so that tub was a little sketchy by day 5 and really not what is expected of a room that costs $800/night. I was on floor 3, same as the outdoor pool and hot tubs, highly convenient. The pool was nice and warm which made it a good option when the hot tubs were full. Only 2 of the 3 hot tubs were in operation for some reason. Was told there is a nicer pool/hot tub facility on the roof but you need to pay $35 to use it as part of the spa. Ski lockers were easy and convenient, quick work to gear up and ski down to the tram. Easy to get back with the lift that services the Cliff. Be prepared for the elevators. They have a weird touch screen control panel system I have never seen before. Was a common point of conversation with fellow guests about how confusing it was to use. The 71 restaurant was good, hamburgers in particular are awesome. Found the casual Atrium breakfast place underwhelming, with my microwaved burrito. Since Snowbird has so few lodging options this is about as good as you will find there so it is the top dog. If it was located in Park City or another ski resort, it would be mid range. Expensive and over priced for what you get, but I would go back.
