I have stayed here usually twice/year for past 6-7 years. Always feel welcomed, and very safe, as I most always travel alone with a car full of stuff.
Very easy access, great parking, friendly owners, comfortable rooms.

Best motel in the state of Texas! I stay there every time I’m in Snyder and it’s better than any place around. You will not find a better room than at the purple sage!

Had to leave because doors wouldn’t lock on two rooms they put us in and bad chemical odor and my 80 year old husband has pulmonary fibrosis and it wasn’t 15 minutes and they won’t refund our money that we paid for two nights. Don’t use this place. Says only owner can do and he’s out of town. We learned a hard lesson in time of not being able to stay in our house because of a water leak.

I love these older road side hotels. Super easy and fast check in (literally had my key card in hand). Room is clean. Great value for the money.

Clean room. Door didn’t lock without deadbolt in room. Hot breakfast is a stretch. Had some breakfast cereal, a few yogurt, some packaged pastries, and frozen waffles in freezer. Would I stay again? Probably not.

Rooms are very dated but some have apparently had bathroom renovation. Area in front of motel is very noisy; door had daylight coming through edge. Floor was sunk in on one spot. New TV. Clean and for the price it was ok. Rooms in back section were quieter. Cute gazebos under trees are nice for sitting outside
