Best Hotels in Sodertalje, Sweden

As a budget hotel in the southern Stockholm suburbs, I wasn't expecting much for my one night on business. It's not glamorous, it's not chic, and it's not convenient for the commuter train or Tunnel-Bahn (Metro system) to central Stockholm (the bus stops close by, or it's a 25 minute walk to the train) But it was clean. It was warm. It had good ventilation. It had a comfortable bed, a TV, a large private bathroom with plenty of hot water, it had a very good inclusive free breakfast, it had convenient free parking outside, and it was walking distance to probably the biggest retail park in Sweden. The reception staff were welcoming. The entire hotel was non-smoking which was perfect for me. The building itself is a little tired looking temporary modular construction, meaning it doesn't look too inviting from the outside, and inside is a very long corridor, again looking a little tired. Being modular also means the acoustic separation between rooms is not perfect, so don't expect solid walls and a solid floor, any maybe expect sounds from neighbouring rooms. But in terms of value for money, if you need somewhere to sleep and eat which is within a budget cost, this place is ideal.

The rooms here are very basic but compared to other hotel prices in Sweden they are good value. Our room got the sun for most of the day and it seemed to retain the heat really well so even though it was bitterly cold outside we were nice and cosy! The breakfast was typical continental with meats, cheese, boiled egg, yoghurt, cereal, bread, crackers, fruit juice etc. The hotel is very close to the railway station so it was handy for getting the train into Stockholm. So even though the room was small and the TV was rubbish we would stay here again rather than paying the ridiculously expensive hotel rates in Stockholm.

Nordic rooms are not big!

the staff was very good. breakfast was super. the bed was also very comfortable. the room lacked a refrigerator to hold a cold drink. Sleeping was comfortable. The room was not cleaned any day I did not understand why !! car parking was super.

The Quality Park Hotel is well located near the railway station and it has a guest parking area. The lobby as well my room were very tidy and recently refurbished. However the room was very warm (in February) and there were no air conditioning to adjust the temperature. Therefore I needed to keep the window open whole night to get a good sleep. Also the room is missing some basic equipment, such as a place for opening the luggage, a shoehorn and a cloth brush! The breakfast is rather rich. The staff at the reception was friendly. Price range is highish and therefore the value is only average.

Great accommodation for price, especially in Europe. The staff were amazing and friendly. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and one of the best we have seen in 23 countries and 50 States. Our only small complaint was that there are no mini fridge or microwave in rooms and the location is not close to public transportation but Uber was very convenient.

Hotel overall is good, but the location is relatively biased, the subway station also needs to go a long way out, the hotel's decoration and facilities are worthy of this price, the price is OK, but far from the city center location, the subway needs to sit for half an hour
