Nuthurst Grange Country House Hotel

Great location for a conference at the NEC. The grounds were lovely. Just with traffic noise from the motorways nearby.

Lovely Sunday Lunch at Nuthurst Grange, beautiful dining room very light and airy with lovely decor! Our food was just wonderful with my Wife choosing the Roast Lamb and myself opting for the rare Roast beef, all served with Yorkshire Pudding, roast potatoes and a full selection of vegetables. Mr Paul Hopwood the owner and his very professional team looked after our every need and were very attentive. Coffee and petite fours were served in the very comfortable lounge area, overall a truly wonderful Luncheon.

My husband and I have just returned from a fantastic lunch here today to celebrate my birthday and our Wedding Anniversary. Spectacular food, amazing service and every small attention to detail superb. May I commend Maz who made everything outstanding and our experience was excellent! Can’t wait to come back soon. Outstanding in every way.

Beautiful venue, had my wedding here. The day was a success, but behind the scenes it was more like Faulty Towers! The lack of communication between staff and the housekeeping side of the business being below par let this venue down. The fact that our wedding was nearly a month ago and we’ve not been asked by the hotel for feedback being positive or negative says it all! Unfortunately will not be recommending this venue or using this venue for further functions. Will be interesting to see if I get any reply from this.

Well, I wanted to stay in Solihull as that’s where colleagues were so I wasn’t too happy until ……. I left colleagues and arrived at this charming hotel, what a find. Reception excellent, at staff excellent, room no faults, hotel was nicely furnished and decorated , thank you to everyone working here, top job. Big thanks oh and I didn’t eat in the restaurant because my work were too mean to cover the cost

Really nice "standard" afternoon tea, in the hotel's conservatory (which may get too hot on a very warm day). Good selection of sandwiches, cakes etc. Friendly/helpful staff.

Having dined here on many occasions and having our wedding here 4 years ago we decided to book for Christmas Day lunch. Unfortunately, this was not up to the mark. Greeted on arrival and offered a glass of cheap prosecco or warm orange juice. The dining room was about a third full and lacked atmosphere. Food was very disappointing, tasteless and rock hard vegetables. Christmas pudding arrived as a slice with lukewarm custard and a coulis of a cold pink liquid. It was rock hard and again tasteless. Tea was served in cups that you would find on a market and the stainless steel teapot leaked. Complete waste of money. So many other places to go........ Only positive were some of the staff were pleasant.

We love this place, and often go for Sunday lunch. We have never had a bad experience and the food is always excellent. We are going Boxing Day this Christmas and are really looking forward to it. The staff are great and always make us feel welcome, we couldn't recommend this place enough.

Room was clean, fresh smelling, cosy and comfy. We had a good night's sleep. Parking was great, close to the room. Can't fault any staff member as all were friendly and polite. Food was great
