GHotels Athos Palace

Now I can't understand one thing, if you have money to pay 50$for massage, why I should stay in this poor hotel.Old,dark ,dirty,smell old wood,I was in shock.For this money that I gave in another country they would give me butler.

One of the the most miserable places we have ever been to. Avoid this place at all costs! The audacity of these people!!! How can you work in this industry and have this incredible lack of respect for your clients? They have some "new" rooms on the ground floor. The smell there is unbearable, like something rotten. Those rooms have probably never seen a vacuum, they are full of bugs, spider webs and dust. The beds are old, concave and broken. There was piss all over the toilet. We had worms crawling in the rooms at night. The windows are at ground level (and dirty, of course), but you can't keep them open, as you might add up to the bug collection. We arrived late and very tired, so we stayed for the night (barely slept) but left as soon as we woke up, couldn't even stay for breakfast anymore. We were too disgusted. I mentioned everything to the receptionist and I got an "I'm sorry"... well, how about you do something about it for the next guests? I highly doubt it, though. If they had any decency, this wouldn't have happened in the first place. Too bad I didn't manage to capture everything in the photos (way worse than what you see), but have a look anyway to get an idea.
