The managers were super friendly and helpful. I was given the best place to stay as someone else had also booked the same cabin I had. So I was given the best stay I had in Tassie. A 3 story wood and stone building overlooking Bass Strait, complete with bath and bath salts provided by Vicki, a godsend after hiking all day!

Our quiet clean cabin with kitchenette was great for a short break - just across the road to the beach, a short drive to shops and central to Burnie and Wynyard shopping areas. Hosts were friendly and the area was well maintained. Everything was super clean and the shower pressure was fantastic. Our only suggestion would be some comfier furniture as the pull out couch was not very comfy as a regular seat. Other than that highly recommend for a north west coast exploring holiday base.

We stayed in a small rustic wooden cabin - comfortable and nice and simple but had everything we needed. Our deck was lovely for sitting in the sun and relaxing and spacious enough for our family of four to sit around the table for meals and keep all our mountain bikes out of the rain too! The kids loved the pool table and budgies and lots of space for riding their mountain bikes around the park. The garden /BBQ /picnic table area at the front of the park was just beautiful, especially with the Spring flowers and cherry blossom trees. The owner was lovely and welcoming. The beautiful beaches opposite go for miles in both directions and are great for walking/ dogs/ swimming. We would be happy to come back next time we need accommodation in the Penguin to Wynyard area.

The cabin was super cosy, we thought that for the price the cabin was going to be straight to the front of the big road with the traffic noise, but not, there was a garden, and we have a beautiful peaceful feeling during our stay. Everything in the cabin was working and clean. The lady at the reception was very helpful and friendly, she was flexible with our check-in-check-out times, as we stay there because we needed to wait for our car to be fixed.
The beach crossing the road was beautiful!
We will try to come again before our holidays finish.
