Hotels in Somerset with Swimming Pools

I hate to write this review, but I am quite upset about my experience at the Quality Inn. Manoj was GREAT at check in. So nice. I needed to pull over while on the road for a video conference for business. Upon getting into my room, the internet was not sufficient to support my video streaming. I notified Manoj at the front desk within 15, 20 minutes of checking in to let him know that his internet was insufficient for my needs and I wouldn't be staying there. I was told I would not be refunded. I was very upset because it's not like I had stayed there for an hour or two. It was within 15, 20 minutes and the hotel was not able to meet my needs. I am now in the Fairfield Inn next door to the Quality Inn, which had fast enough internet to support my needs, and am paying for a room at both places. I am sorry to have to write this review, but I see no reason why I could not be refunded after just a few minutes. I even had Priceline call, as I had booked through Priceline, and they were told the same thing, that I would not be refunded.

This property felt like it was perhaps one of the original Hampton Inns. Staff wise, it was great. Front desk folks were terrific. The hotel is tired. Some attempt has been made to freshen it up but it needs so much more. There’s nothing you can do about the location next to idling 28 wheelers at a truck stop, but they could do more with cleanliness. Also, no one should be in rooms that have wires rubbing down the wall or stains on the furniture. Breakfast could use a bit more variety but the waffles were good.
