The accommodation was thoroughly thought out, easily accessible and aesthetic - ly pleasing. This thus created such a peaceful atmosphere. The owner is also so wholesome & kind, you feel like you're visiting a family member or friend. 10 outta 10 would recommend.

Casa iLanga is a beautifully equipped guesthouse in a quiet, established suburb of Somerset West. All the rooms are modern, spacious and disabled friendly. Comfortable beds with blackout curtains ensures a good night’s rest.

We had booked all 5 rooms of the guesthouse for my family to stay, as it was close to our wedding venue. We also used the outside areas of the guesthouse for some pre-wedding functions. The owner went out of her way to accommodate us and ensure our stay at the guesthouse was comfortable. The rooms and amenities offered was 5 star. I highly recommend Casa Ilanga for your stay in Somerset West. Thank you Geertje!

On our trip in the Cape Area we started our trip at Summerset West in Casa Ilangha Guesthouse. For the record we also ended our trip here. Geertje is a very warm host and her guesthouse has everything you need. Important she is also fully equiped for wheelchairs. From the guesthouse you can easily do trips to the townships, Robbenisland, Cape of Good Hope, Hermanus, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek. Geertje is a very warm person. We enjoyed our stay in Summerset West.

I can highly recommend a stay at Casa iLanga. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed and the bed is so, so comfortable. Serviced daily. The host Geertje is very welcoming and will go out of her way to provide you with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. There is a swimming pool to dip into after a days sightseeing. Somerset West is a great location for exploring the wine farms and Ubers are cheap and plentiful for when you don’t want to drive. There are too many great wine farms and restaurants to list here but you can ask Geertje for any recommendations. Enjoy!

Nous y avons passé 7 nuits. La chambre était spacieuse, très propre, très agréable. On avait dans la chambre un bon Wifi, une machine à café, TV, belle salle de bain. Nous y sommes allés en hiver, donc nous n'avons pas pu profiter de la piscine et du jardin. La propriétaire était très aimable et toujours prête à nous aider et à nous renseigner sur les endroits à visiter dans les environs. Belle expérience!
