This was a great hotel, right next to Verona airport. My wife and I with a 16 and 11 year old stayed a night to make an early flight the next day, the parking was great and easy. The hotel design was really nice and modern. Our room was amazing it had a seperate room with a double sofa bed for the kids, our room had a super king, with seperate rooms for basins, shower, bath and toilet. The main bath was big, it even had a large chandalier in it, it was that big. They had an abundance of bathing ammenities, everything you would only normally get in a high end hotel. A fully stocked complimentary mini bar with snacks, free mini bar. This has to be one of the best value hotels I've ever stayed at, it was fantastic. We used the onsite pizza/pasta restaurant which was again fantastic and so cheap, unbelievably cheap, again if the DB hotel people can deliver this level of experience at this price point then the Marriott's and the Hiltons of this world need to look out. We will absolutely be back, thank you so much DB Hotel Verona we will see you again.

We have recently been guests of the Agriturismo Ca' Giulietta in Sommacampagna, in the province of Verona, for a mini-work/vacation stay and we want to share our extraordinary experience, The hotel is also very comfortable and comfortable, and is very comfortable and comfortable. The breakfast gives guests an unforgettable start of day. Local products such as house-made marmalades, typical region cheese and traditional sauces add a touch of authenticity to the table. Really pleasantly surprised by this hotel! When we first drove up is only 5 mins away from the airport and is basically off a motorway so thought oh no originally, however when we got to the hotel there’s a big car park outside that you can park your car on for free (really helpful for us as we hired a car for driving to lake Garda and Venice) and the reception and facilities are really lovely. Beautiful pool outside and have a spa inside that is fully open on the weekend (in the week it’s just pool only). Staff are really friendly can’t do enough for you. Breakfast was buffet style with bacon, scrambled eggs, toast, cereals, different cakes everyday. It is not your typical full English as in no sausages or beans but is very filling and I really enjoyed the breakfast. For evening meal every night we were in Verona we went to Verona town centre which is about a 15 minute drive. We pre booked using the hotel free shuttle bus there and then got a taxi back as there werent times back we wanted for the shuttle and didn’t want to be on a time scale and taxi cost around 30 euro. Rooms are decent, spacious, a bit outdated in places. Had to give 4 stars as also had building work next to the hotel so could hear that but for us the hotel was so nice that didn’t bother us. You get what you pay for and the service was excellent. For me it is worth being further out from Verona as I love a pool and spa and time to relax which you wouldn’t have in the town centre. Being next to the airport turned into a plus for me also as no stress when picking and dropping off the hired car and when travelling to and from home.

Esperienza negativa..struttura potenzialmente di rilievo purtroppo in stato di abbandono. Nessun lavoro di restauro è stato eseguito, per cui la struttura si presenta nello stato originale con le stesse finiture e arredi in stato di degrado. Ciò rende la struttura non consona al livello attribuitole. Abbiamo riservato 3 camere direttamente dal sito per 2 notti al prezzo di 3 junior suite. purtroppo solo per una delle tre camere le caratteristiche riportate sup sito sono state rispettate. La metratura e le caratteristiche delle altre rispecchiavano un livello più basso in linea con le caratteristiche della “deluxe”: non avevano la doccia (ma vasca da bagno) ne tantomeno ambiente suite con divanetti /tavolo e poltroncina, i metri totali erano 24/25 e non 30/35 come da indicazioni del sito. In una delle camere non è stato possibile chiudere le finestre in quanto i serramenti erano danneggiati, in un’altra non funzionava il phon nel bagno. Quanto alla finestra un manutentore ha provato a far qualcosa ma senza risultato alcuno, se non assecondare la nostra di soluzione mettere un cucchiaino nell’incasso del serramento per mantenere ferme le ante 😂😂 fatte presenti queste incongruenze alla reception le risposte sono state vane, le finestre non si possono riparare perché la sovrintendenza beni culturali non ce lo consente 😅 (parole del direttore), del phon non ci è stato detto, la doccia e i metri sono caratteristiche indicative ma poi le camere non sono tutte uguali, quella sul sito è a titolo d’esempio, noi a catalogo le Vostre le abbiam classificate come “junior suite”, sempre parole del direttore. La Colazione molto risicata e poca scelta, il personale invita la clientela a fare cappuccino e caffè direttamente da un distributore automatico, chiedendola al tavolo la portano ma sembra ti facciano un favore, manca la spremuta..per carità saranno indicazioni sempre della direzione nulla da dire al personale di sala..insomma non un 4 stelle, ma un 3 stelle nella media..Non si fa una questione di prezzo ma di comfort che viene sponsorizzato in maniera ingannevole e poi al riscontro effettivo si rileva discomfort al quale il personale giustamente non riesce a dare motivazione. A quel prezzo c’è di meglio in zona!

The fabric of the hotel is very good. Clean and fresh and so it should be as I believe it has recently been refurbished. If you want a hotel where there is daytime/night time entertainment this is not for you. It is generally a quiet relaxing hotel. Children are allowed but they will have to provide their own entertainment. There are three pools, one in the spa, one adults only and one that children can use. The pool bar was not in operation while we were there. The hotel is a 50 min walk from the town of Lazise on reasonable paths that are shared with cyclists. But you take your life in your own hands as the cyclists and scooter riders just fly past with no warning. A taxi into town costs 15-20 euro. There is no shuttle bus at the hotel even though it indicates there is on the trip advisor hotel listing. And to the reviewer who says it is a 5 min walk to the lake..you are wrong. I would say it is at least 15 mins and that includes a shortcut through a vineyard and a campsite. The rooms are a decent size. Storage for clothes could be improved with more drawer/shelf space. There is a fridge (no mini bar) which on arrival has two bottles of water in. It seems pot luck as to whether the water is replenished. A good size TV but maybe only 3 English channels (news). The bedside lamps are quite dim...not enough light to read by. All rooms have a balcony or terrace for ground floor. There was no milk to make hot drinks. We purchased some from the local supermarket. Breakfast is more or less typical for a holiday hotel. Fresh fruit..well melon and pineapple, yogurts. Continental style with meats and cheeses plus a pastry section. Don't expect a full English here.... there is bacon, fried egg and sausage but that is all. The food was a decent quality. There is a gripe I do have in that when the bread ran out we were tod it was finished and no more would be coming out.....this wasn't at the end of the breakfast sitting but with still 45 mins to go. NOT ACCEPTABLE. One thing that we observed was a family who loaded up breakfast food of all description including fresh fruit, as well as taking water bottles from the display and then blatantly took it back to their rooms. They took plates piled high and filled bags. It wasn't as if they were having breakfast in their rooms as they were eating breakfast in the dining room. They were clearly taking food to eat later in the day! The staff knew but did nothing. Maybe that is why they ran out of bread. We only dined in the evening twice. The menu is not extensive .....in fact there were only two choices of main meal. Other course were labelled starter, first course, second course, so maybe you are supposed to have one of each course because the size of the main dish is not huge. If you have a decent appetite you will need more than one course. The main problem with this hotel is the lack of staff. There was not enough waiting staff at all so tables were delayed in getting cleared and more importantly food

The location on a traffic-rich axis is acceptable for unique stay at closed windows. The quality and equipment of the hotel is excellent. The same can be said for breakfast.

Friendly and helpful staff. Reception staff unable order a taxi for the return journey to the airport because of high demand as a result of bad weather. They arranged transport with the shuttle bus company, an example of good service! The hotel Wi-Fi connectivity was excellent as was the breakfast. The only drawback of the hotel is its location on the outskirts of Verona. This meant that we used the shuttlebus and taxis (fifteen / twenty-minute journey). It is necessary to book the departure slots the day before for the shuttlebus, the available time slots were not always our preferred time. The shuttlebus will drop you off at the railway station if you ask the driver (did a day a day trip to Lake Garda using the train, inexpensive and regular service, well worth doing). A taxi fare to the Piazza Bra / Arena including tip was circa 20 euros. There were always taxis available at the location for the return journey. The taxi fare from the airport to the hotel was 30 euros. I would use this hotel again if ever returning to Verona.

Nice place where to spend a night, close to the airport. There are some good restaurants around, no complaints.
