It was a really nice holiday, my daughter had a lot of fun both in the swimming pools and with the entertainment. The beaches nearby are Xoriguer, small with some rocks while the Calan Bosc which is about 200 meters away is larger with sand . The food wasn't bad, a different theme every night. Clean room overlooking the pools.

Overall we had a good time. We had an all inclusive package with meals included. The cuisine is always very repetitive. The complex has swimming pools and the children have a lot of fun. However, there is one important thing to know: the slides that start from the small children's pool end up in a pool with much higher water and you have to know how to swim so you can't miss them not even a second of sight! Another important thing to know is that the village is not directly on the sea and therefore does not have an adjacent beach. You have to take a walk of about 150 meters to get to the first very small and crowded beach or there is the one in the village 10 minutes on foot. The thing that I absolutely didn't like was the breakfast on departure. We left early ok so I'm not expecting anything but there wasn't even milk for the children and I speak for all children not just mine. There was only something salty like salami left over from the night before and some inedible packaged pastries. But we paid for breakfast, eh. I forgot the Italian animation was practically non-existent while the Spanish one was super. Too bad I couldn't let my son go to the Spanish mini club.

A wonderful hotel, it seems like a resort in the Caribbean...it has a large central pool, with entertainment, slides, near the bar...it is difficult to get a hammock since people put their towels down at 7am in the morning, but Then we realized that in the small pools between the rooms it is much better, quieter, surrounded by fruit trees, palm trees... great. We loved it!! Correct buffet, varied food, snacks... very cool renovated rooms, friendly staff ..the only thing that the closest beach was rocky...but I highly recommend the hotel!! It is also close to Cala en Bosch, the port is very nice to walk, eat, dine...book excursions...it is great .Everything very beautiful.

So ill start with the positives....nice hotel, nice rooms, always cleaned well. Bar and evening entertainment pretty good and park and kids club not bad either. Staff were all pretty nice and reception staff were really friendly. The worse thing about this place is definately the food. It was vile. We were all inclusive and we are not fussy eaters, usually we will always find something we like but the food here was probably the worst ive ever had especially for a 4star hotel. It was dreadful and really does let this hotel down. My kids loved the pool but when you come down the kids slides the pool is far too deep. We saw about 10 kids nearly drown whilst sitting around the pool as if you just arrive, you are not always aware just how deep it is when you first get in. Overall we had a nice time as we always make the best of oyr holidays but i dont think we'd ever return as the food was just awful.

It should have a three star rating instead of four. Repetitive restoration, regular cooking, good animation. Cleaning well. Disappoin**ent in waiting for a place that had nothing to do with what the travel agency sold us as a great Meliá. I would not go to the same hotel again.

The terrible mattresses are at least 30 years old, they need urgent renovations, horrible pillows, I return from vacation with a neck contracture, pool area good for the whole family, very competent staff, buildings that lack remodeling, very old, buffet food quite a bit Bad, low quality. The hotel is well located but I don't think I will repeat.

We spent 2 weeks at Sol Falco, the first at the end of September with enough people, the second was the first in October (1 week before closing), few people therefore more gloomy (for information). The clientele is international. The hotel has 5 swimming pools (7 pools), the rooms are 4-star standard, the bedding is good but with 2 single beds (I think this is common to the whole hotel), 1 small gym, 1 games room, billiards, etc. The hotel is very clean, a large main swimming pool, another rectangular one for swimming, and the other 3 are small but charming and quiet. In terms of service, the staff is friendly, the food is good and very varied, butter croissants (rare abroad), fish every day, some days shrimp and prawns, themed dishes, note quality pastries, this which is also rare. The patio for outdoor dining is so nice! The all-inclusive (drinks) is varied, local and international alcohol included (which is also rare for a 4), the bartenders are super friendly and adapt to your tastes. The entertainment is light, show in the evening (not done by the entertainment team but by artists). The location of the hotel is impeccable, beaches, shops, marina, car rental nearby, in short... Small clarification which is useful so as not to be surprised, the airport/hotel transport includes several hotels which increases waiting times (passengers) and journey times (drop-off in hotels), 1 hour 45 minutes on the way out, 1 hour on the return journey. Menorca is so preserved, peaceful and magnificent that you absolutely must visit, staying in a hotel whatever the day is heresy, you cross the island in 1 hour so everything is accessible! We fell in love with this island, we will return there and why not once again at Sol Falco!

Mixed reviews on this place but I'll start with the negatives in the hope I can end on a positive. So the worst part of this place for us was the food, unfortunately I could not see past this or even make excuses for the awful food experience. Breakfast was just terrible. I am one of those that will try everything until I find something I like. The full English was just awful, I am by no means a fussy eater but this was the worst breakfast ever!! The fried eggs were constantly raw in the middle and stone cold. Bakery section is probably the safest bet although sometimes stale. There is a good variety of food but even the fruit tasted gone off and had a weird taste. Lunch was not alot better again I tried everything but food always cold and lacks any kind of flavour, dinner same!! Totally disappointed as had to eat out everyday as we really could not cope with the awful food here so ended up spending alot more money than we should have. On the grounds of the food I will not return. Swimming pools were way to deep including kids pools, there was a splash area you can walk through but if you have a child that does not enjoy huge amounts of water in their face then don't use. My child is fairly confident in pools with armbands but the main pools just totally freaked her out and myself as not a strong enough swimmer to hold her up when I'm nowhere near touching the floor. Lifeguard could see this and advised we use the smaller pools dotted around the site as they are quieter and not as deep, we took his advise and enjoyed some lovely swims, although the people laying around the smaller pools did not appreciate us turning up with a child !! So lots of looks and made to feel like we shouldn't be there!! On our last day in the quiet pool the life guard came over and told us he had a phonecall about my daughter being in the quiet pool and that we need to be quiet!! She is 5 years old and was floating around with me and her Dad talking at a normal voice range. This outraged me as it ruined her last swim and upset her as she really had done nothing wrong so all in all pools are not family friendly unless you go to the main pools which are far to deep and unmanageable fir non swimmers. Lastly we had so many key issues had to keep going all the way down to reception to change the key not great when dragging ypur tired kid around dripping wet after swimming or beach days etc. The complex itself is well maintained and clean and really pretty and charming for nice strolls, i loved this side of it, very well looked after. The cleaners were great they came in daily and ours was very friendly and worked hard. Entertainment was good, varied every night we enjoyed some good shows and the entertainment staff were friendly and enthusiastic. Location was pretty good close to super markets and 10 minutes walk dwn to harbour and restaurants. I found all the staff to be happy and helpful excluding the one lifeguard on the last day. Such a shame that the food has f

We had a weeks stay at Sol Falco, initial impressions of the Hotel seemed good however there were a few issues, This place doesn't cater for Vegetarians, there were no options for a hot meal without meat or fish,my Husband who does eat meat said the meat was undercooked, food wasn't warm either,I spent the whole week having salad because there was no alternative for me. Our room was ok however there was toothpaste of the bathroom wall from the previous guests, the toothpaste stayed there the whole time we were there, our towels were changed daily and beds made but the bedding wasn't changed for cleaning all week, other than that I don't think anything got cleaned, the floor was dusty and the shower wasn't cleaned, apart from the sink which seemed to have been wiped,We were woken every night by the boiler which was right next to our room (not what you want when you're on holiday trying to relax) This place needs another bar,it can't possibly cater for the number of guests, the bar staff didn't have alot of knowledge regarding Cocktails, but if you tell them how to make them they'll do it,the bar staff were quite friendly, especially Pepe,Manu,Angel (or maybe Angelo) and an older guy who we didn't get his name always up for a laugh, asked everyone if they want Whiskey. We didn't let these issues spoil our holiday and we still enjoyed ourselves but unfortunately wouldn't return again.
