I stayed at the Lodge over the weekend to attend my Niece’s wedding as many of the other wedding party did and had a wonderful time. The grounds , with the lovely pool, functional gym and the restaurant with the delicious breakfast all made this stay exceptional. The wine tastings in the afternoon were a nice touch and the pre wedding reception at the restaurant was very well arranged. I stayed in a King Cottage suite and it was nicely appointed with a useful fireplace for the chilly evenings and only wished the windows were a bit larger to enjoy the view and to have more natural light in the room but did enjoy the view from my outside terrace. House keeping was a bit more erratic as twice I came back to an unmade room and had to notify the front desk that quickly resolved the issue. Overall a great stay and looking forward to staying there again soon.

Stayed with my family and had a wonderful time. Great lobby lounge to spend time with the family and breakfast in the morning. Mom watched our kid while my wife and I had a nice dessert and drink in the fantastic restaurant on property. Thank you to the front desk team who took great care of us.

A memorable experience, from the ambience , service, attentive staff to the comfortable rooms with beds and pillows. Warm fireplace and wine tasting in the lobby to swimming in the pool made our experience exceptional. Easy walk to downtown. A great getaway.

This is the first time we have stayed here and it is absolutely wonderful. The ambiance, service, food at the two restaurants, and location are so great! The spa, pool and whirlpool are amazing! I highly recommend the Lodge at Sonoma Resort, Autograph Collection!

We spent one night at The Lodge and had a good stay. Friendly staff, the grounds could use a little cleaning up but it was winter but when we arrived there was a huge container of laundry right by the reception...not a great look!

Whenever I’m Sonoma you must stay at the lodge. Grab a bike and ride into town best way to truly experience the beauty allure and wonder of Sonoma. Best city in USA !!!

Pros: lovely grounds Nice pool area Great complimentary wine tasting Cute bikes to use Fireplace in cottage Making a lavender sachet Robes in room (need to put enough for each person staying though) Cons: showing wear & tear, needs maintenance and new carpets (we were in a pet friendly room) Complimentary breakfast muffins were not good (not sure how free it is considering $45 resort fee) Hot tub needs refurbishing Dinner at Benicia’s not good tasting It was between here & the Fairmont and I kind of wish we went with the Fairmont since it’s five star, but I would stay again if Fairmont not available to try.

Overall excellent stay. Room: Excellent well-designed cottages Breakfast: Breakfast is FANTASTIC. Plenty of options for vegetarians and they have put a great spin on brekfast items. Kudos to the Chef. Wine Tasting: We really enjoyed the wine tasting. Pool: Pool and Hot Tub were very good. Room Service: Room service was prompt with requests. Elite Recognition: Elite status benefits honored. Note: This resort is designed for couples, not families. Would love to return as a couple.

Very friendly staff at check-in and check-out. Clean and neat property. Loved the outdoor space with the firepit and rocking chairs and the decoration / furniture in shared spaces overall matching an upscale experience.
