We found this hotel after reading reviews as we wanted a sea view but easy access to the town.
What a superb place, free upgrade, great breakfast options, front desk was wonderful and helped with everything including advice on things to do, taxis and printing tickets. Just the right distance to get into town, further up the hill would be too far. Rooms incredibly clean and great bed. Loved it and highly recommend

What a fantastic hotel. Feeling totally relaxed after 3 nights in a superior room with a balcony view of Sorrento. Where to begin - location - about 20 mins walk to Sorrento on Via Capo. Great views from terraces. Would definitely recommend bay view rooms. A fantastic way to start and end the day. The hotel is spotless, very clean, we could not fault anything. The details, ceramics, art and furnishings were all perfectly coordinated. Stylish without being over styled. The hotel staff - all first class. Could not have been more helpful and polite. 5* Dining - great continental breakfast with the bonus of eating on the terrace. Overall- a fantastic base for Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast.

We have been asked to pay for the stay although we said in the the reception that we already paid. Just after paying and leaving the hotel we got a message that they are sorry and our stay has been already payed indeed, and we have to get our money back in few days. Moreover we couldnt sit in the balcony because it was full in bees and in the breakfast we didnt see scrambled eggs and the overall feeling that it was quit poor.

We loved this place. The view is amazing and the walk to the center of Sorrento is easy. The room was clean and beauiful. We would stay again.

Really a beautiful stay at the Miramare Hotel! The room was very spacious with a magnificient view, the breakfast was delicious and the personnel was very helpful. It’s a 15 min walk to the restaurants and boutiques, on a sidewalk, which is safer. We loved our stay!

My adult granddaughters and I absolutely loved our stay at Miramare. Amazing view, very clean and comfortable. Food was excellent and the young man (with the earring), sorry we didn’t get his name, was an absolute gem- friendly, kind helpful and shows he loves his job!
On the other hand, Emilie at Reception was rude, short, dismissive, and the list of Negatives goes in.
