The hotel is location is a good spot, easy to find and easy to check in. The room itself a bit small, and the bathroom is kind of tiny.
But great price for location.

Hotel Regina is a really fab place to stay in Sorrento. It is only a short walk to the centre and 10 mins to the railway station. You can also walk to island hopping ferries and Porto grande where there are nice bars and restaurants. Our room was spotless with a big comfortable bed and a wonderful view of Vesuvius and the sea. It was thoroughly cleaned every day and fresh towels etc provided. Breakfast was plentiful and the view from the restaurant was exceptional. We ate dinner there one night. They had just employed a new chef and food was yummy. We had stuffed calamaro and a delicious tiramisu. Staff are all super friendly and go out of their way to help - reception staff, housekeeping, bar staff, restaurant staff - all were lovely. We would highly recommend this hotel and will be back to explore more of the area.

We had dinner at this restaurant for 2 evening and we are very satisfied. The a**osphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening out. The risotto alla pescatora was the best I have ever eaten. Manuel and all the staff were kind and professional. We left LA Vista restaurant feeling completely satisfied.

Vista Mozzafiato: L’Hotel Regina offre una vista panoramica semplicemente mozzafiato sul Golfo di Napoli e sul Vesuvio. Ogni mattina, mi svegliavo con la luce del sole che illuminava il mare e il vulcano. È un’esperienza indimenticabile. Belle Camere: Le camere dell’Hotel Regina sono spaziose, ben arredate e dotate di tutti i comfort necessari. Il design è elegante e moderno, e ho apprezzato particolarmente la pulizia impeccabile. Il mio soggiorno è stato davvero confortevole. Carmine, il consierge dell’hotel, è stato eccezionale. Sempre disponibile, gentile e pronto ad aiutare. Ha fornito ottimi consigli su ristoranti, escursioni e attività locali. Grazie a lui, ho scoperto alcuni gioielli nascosti di Sorrento.

Perfect location. Walking distance to the most amazing shopping, cafes and restaurants. But away from all the noise, so you get the best of both worlds. Beautiful coastal views from the hotel.

Beds are not good. Our bed was old and had a huge divet in it so one person slept lopsided. Carpets are very dirty. Breakfast food was day old and the serving staff had poor hygiene measures. Lady sneezed in her hand and then touched plates and food. Reception staff were helpful and courteous as well as the cleaning staff. Cleaning staff helped us layer comforters on the side of the mattress that was caved in.
Some hotel staff treated us very impersonally; some grumpy people. Location is great. Roof bar was not much to talk about. Pool was nice and garden was beautiful. Breakfast terrace was great overlooking the ocean. Overall, I would not stay here again.

After a positive experience several years ago, we returned with our entire family for our second stay at the Hotel Regina. A couple employees met our van down the street from the hotel and helped with the luggage. The front desk staff was very efficient. By the time we walked to the hotel after paying our driver, the rest of our group already had their rooms and were settling in. The front desk employees helped with making dinner reservations for two nights during our stay. They provided information on the best beach in the area and lent us some towels to use for the day. We took advantage of the pool area/bar, the rooftop bar and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious daily buffet breakfast overlooking the Gulf of Naples.
