Excellent location, Lovely room, very clean, very friendly staff…. But, if you happen to have a room next to the breakfast area then forget having a quiet morning. The breakfast room is a communal one large table experience and you cannot help yourself to anything. Confusion as to what you actually want for breakfast results in a somewhat Fawlty Towers experience. Some people will be offered Orange juice… some will not. If you want Toast, it has to come as a cheese and ham toasted sandwich… just simple toast is not an option. If you don’t want eggs of any sort then you are frowned upon. There are croissants… but they must be served hot with cream and covered in icing sugar. No tea making facilities in the room but you can use the communal kettle. No milk though. They could do with investing in some soundproofing. That is the one moan though. The staff cannot do enough for you and as I said earlier the place is spotless and super clean. I just don’t want to be woken up at 6am by the clattering chairs etc… especially when the earliest you can have breakfast is 8am
