Sejours & Affaires Rouen Normandie

This is half an apartment-type hotel and half student residence . It is in a suburb of Rouen but there is a tram stop nearby and a regular service into the city centre taking about 10-15 minutes . Secure parking can be reserved suitable for a large car (not sure about roof boxes though) . I parked in the outside car park which was fine so can’t comment on the underground parking . The studio was at the back of the building and was quiet with its own terrace . Bed was very comfy and the kitchenette relatively well equipped with 2 hot plates , a microwave and various utensils . No tea towel or kettle though . Cleaning is only once a week but you get a brush and dust-pan and brush . Bathroom is rather cramped with only a shower curtain and some of the grouting had seen better days . No hair dryer as standard . Breakfast was continental-style but no service on Sunday . Staff are on duty during the day but if you arrive after 12 on a Saturday you need to use various codes to get in which they supply. Small Carrefour close by plus pharmacies , bakers and a butchers . All in all a practical place to stay if a little worn around the edges in places . Staff very pleasant and helpful .
