Das Einchecken wurde durch den nur französisch sprechenden sehr netten Herrn des Hauses durchgeführt und war gut organisiert. Zuvor hatten wir per Email Kontakt zur Vermieterin, die gut Englisch spricht und außerordentlich nett und zuvorkommend ist. Die Unterkunft selber war sauber. Das Bett mit einer hervorragenden Matratze versehen. Am besten war aber das Frühstück. Frisches Brot, selbst gemachtes Rillete ebenso wie die selbst gemachte Marmelade und die Eier von den eigenen Hühnern waren einfach super. Den selbst produzierten Apfelsaft zur Begrüßung und zum Frühstück hätte ich fast vergessen.

Marie-Jo is een supervriendelijke gastvrouw die zorgt voor een lekker ontbijt met ambachtelijke producten - eigen kweek. Let op, ze organiseert geen table d'hôte dus voor je avondmaal moet je naar Neufchâteau of pizza bestellen bij Juke Box. Na een hele dag fietsen - een etappe op een fietsreis met vrienden naar de Jura - was het leuk dat we ons hier meer dan welkom voelden.

Bij aankomst was er niemand aanwezig. Na telefonisch contact bleek dat we het appartement gewoon in konden en mochten betreden: de deur was open. 's Avonds schonk de eigenaresse eigen gemaakt appelsap.
Ruime kamer, prima bed. Goede douche met wat weinig afleg mogelijkheden. Het toilet spoelde je behoefte of alleen toiletpapier niet weg...
Ontbijt is sober met alleen eigen gemaakte jam of een gekookt ei als broodbeleg op een stokbrood/witbroodplak. Kefir-yoghurt. Koffie en thee werd aanwezig.
Locatie: wat we niet hadden verwacht: verkeersgeluiden zijn duidelijk aanwezig als je de deuren open hebt.
Het lijkt allemaal wat negatief hierboven: we raden een verblijf toch aan. Wellicht dat de eigenaresse enkele genoemde zaken kan verbeteren.

Great place; great value. Marie-Jo was absolutely brilliant and made us most welcome, with great home-made apple juice. Breakfast was brilliant and included home-made jams, brioche and yogurt, with milk and eggs from her farm. 👌🙏
