Popular Sousse 4-star Hotels

As a coastal tourist city in Tunisia, Sousse has low consumption. The hotel has free parking. There are police and security personnel at the entrance, and it feels like it is being guarded by layers. The hotel has a private beach, booked sea view rooms, directly facing the sea. But the room facilities are old. The hotel has three meals, and the buffet has many varieties, which is very good. Many elderly people in Europe come to live for a few months and feel like a European nursing home.

Visited Royal Salem is Sousse for a weeks break with my partner. From arrival we were welcomed by all the staff. The food was brilliant, plenty to choose from. The swimming pool and private beach were perfect. The evening entertainment was very enjoyable. The Animation team were very fun and get everyone involved. I would highly recommend this resort for all trips away. Next time we will most certainly bring our children. Perfect for any family holiday.

A fantastic week! We had a room with a pool and sea view. Beautiful. Our room was very clean and was maintained by a lovely lady who tidied, cleaned and gave us fresh towels. What a beautiful, spotlessly clean pool to relax by. Slides were such great fun for the kids. Helpful staff around at all times. Bar staff very helpful and made special drinks for the kids. Such a treat to be so close to the beach! Beautiful beach bar with a lovely, helpful bar man. Animation team - Kimo-was very friendly and fantastic with our kids. He checked in on us often and made sure there were activities for kids to participate in. We loved aqua-aerobics, basketball, tennis and darts. Loads of energy and always had a smile and chat for us. What a lovely guy 🙂. The food has been excellent - varied and always plenty of choice. The hotel is generally a little tired and could do with some attention (for example, air conditioning in room not great and balcony door broken.). For us, this all added to the charm and any mild issues were well put-weighed by incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Thank-you for a very special week.

The Marhaba Salem is rated in the TUI brochure as a 4 Star but I have to be honest and say that it closer to a 2/3 star here in the UK. That being said it is a very good hotel that I would be more than happy to go back to at a later date. for me the difference in star ratings are down to the rooms. While the rooms are very comforatable and impeccibly clean, they really do need an upgrade at least the one that we were in. They look old and not really like you see in the brochures. The staff are absolutely fantastic throughout the hotel and always said hello and smiled so no issue with them. The hotel itself is locate half way between PEK and Sousse which is roughly an hours walk if you are feeling enegetic or a 5 - 10 minute taxi ride which is easy to get and very cheap (just dont get the one directly outside the hotel). Food was amazing throughout our week stay and although I am one of the worlds fussiest and plain eaters I always found (too much) to eat. If you are thinking of going, just temper your expectations with regards to the rooms and without a doubt you will have a fantastic time.

Considering the value for money, it's not bad. Excellent sea view. Half an hour for the registration of the check in seems excessive to me. Hearty meals. Wifi works fine. TV channels need a technician to tune them, I couldn't

Really good experience at hotel great staff, make sure you looked after very friendly, just need to cater food for children overall excellent 😀 animation staff are brilliant children are always happy can't thank them enough entertained them theoufhour thw whole holiday was there fo 9 daya constantly making sure children are busy,the performance and shows are brilliant, can't thank them enough 👏 😀 very happy

This hotel is lovely, the rooms are so clean, the shower is probably one of the best, room was cleaned daily,fresh towels. Water put in room daily. We went to the beach every day, soon as you went down there, security helped get a sun lounger,very helpful, mohammed couldn't do enough for you, he brought drinks,water, fantastic guy. Hubby did breakfast,which he said was excellent, the lady who did the omelette was great,we used bar and snack area a few times,near beach,it was lovely, waiters were so helpful, use main restaurant in the evening, there was such a good selection of food, there is a pasta station,which is made why you wait, so worth the wait, hubby booked the romantic beach meal, it was amazing,it's only your self's there, you pre order your food, which is vegan, chicken or veal, we had the vegan, and veal, mine was the vegan, it was out of this world, hubby said the veal he had was one of the best, there was no rush, our waiter was the best, he just new when to come over, we did Sunday 7/8/22, telling you date as I can't remember how to spell his name, big hand clap to him, We had some photos taken , which we had so much fun, got up at 4am for them, but so worth it to have them taken ,when the sun rise happen, Honest all the team at this hotel are fantastic, always smiling. Only thing we think needs looking at is the entertainment, it's ok, but just that, Thank you all for making memories for us.
