Best Western Plus Hovell Tree Inn

Pillows and mattress not comfortable, location is good room is not new.

Our main reason for booking this hotel was the swimming pool, so it was very disappointing to be informed upon arrival that the pool was under maintenance. As all nearby hotels were fully booked, we had no alternative but to remain at the property. When we raised the issue, we were advised to contact Trip.com, as any request for compensation or partial refund would need to be handled through them and would be subject to the owner’s discretion. On a positive note, the location was excellent and the staff were courteous and friendly.

Overall stay was satisfactory. It was not noted prior to booking that the accommodations are divided between two separate buildings. Not all rooms are equipped with microwaves and other standard amenities. It is advisable to carefully review the details during booking to avoid any inconvenience. Stayed in an apartment. Nice quiet, spacious room with comfy bed. However, shower curtains not reach floor so water splashed everywhere when showering. Good selection of teas and coffee and the addition of biscuits was very welcomed. Easy location for visiting both Albury and Wodonga. Overall good but the building and amenities are a little 'tired'.

Nothing special. We arrived at 1 pm, and early checkout was not granted. During our stay, we went back to our room at 1.30 pm and the room was not cleaned yet. No amenities such as tooth brush which is standard for a hotel of this level. The fact that we came on 3 Jan, which was also a weekend, maybe also part of the reasons of the inferior service. As notified the grill restaurant is also closed on weekends. Although the nightly rate is not different on weekends

Great for price and cleanliness. This is my second time staying there. I usually stay 1 night. I recommend this hotel.

The place is very nice stay in Albury it is clean, staff friendly with pool, nothing really to complain about
