Superb overnight stay. We were upgraded from the barns to the main island. First room had a very squeaky bed so we were moved without question. Room was small but beautifully appointed. Comfortable bed with luxurious bedding. Delicious mini buns welcoming us in the room. Well stocked complimentary fridge.
Grounds are spectacular even in winter - lots of seating areas which must be wonderful in summer. Hope to return!

Service was amazing, the property was great and clean, the room was comfortable with complimentary drinks that were much appreciated after a long travel day and the parking was so convenient. I have to say the restaurant was very pricy for what you get- and at that price I personally think you shouldn’t have to pay for bread and a bottle of water- but that’s just my two-cents. Otherwise, awesome stay!

Lovely unique property on an island surrounded by the Thames River. Stunning setting as you enter across a bridge, then faced with beautiful white buildings, canal boat spa, greenery with squirrels and ducks everywhere. Very peaceful. Breakfast was outstanding, great taste, hot, and plenty of it. Lots of choices too. Attentive staff! Highly recommend!!

The hotel was stunning, an easy trip from London and so peaceful, small but great customer service and the perfect place for a summer UK getaway. The only thing that let it down was the hotel restaurant had very limited vegetarian options, the only one of which was pretty bad (broccoli and some boiled new potatoes) which I was really disappointed with given the meat options looked great. The service was great in the restaurant however and there was a good selection of cocktails and wines.

Was recommended by friends. Was sat at a bar table and had such a wonderful time. Seb the bartender was 10/10 and knew exactly what I wanted to drink. Will be 100% coming back again. Food menu looked excellent however we had eaten alrway but definitely looking forward to trying.

Stunning setting. Very private. Walking distance to Fat Duck, Hinds Head and Waterside Inn. Highly recommend the restaurant and cocktail bar. Not a huge range but top quality produce. Staff very knowledgable. Didn’t use the spa - which was a regret! Will definitely re visit.

Rude and unprofessional. I had a reservation and tried to connect with them by email. While my reservation clearly stated I was a Mr they kept calling me Ms. Also, I booked a slot for a massage as soon as they sent me the option but they never confirmed and after asking for a confirmation they told me my option was no longer available and there was only one or two options left for the entire day I had chosen. I decided to go somewhere else following this string of rudeness and lack of professionalism I had to experience even before stepping into this hotel.
