What can I say, everything else is fine, I should say pretty good, but because it is a self-service check-in, so if you say check-in at three o'clock, check-in at three o'clock. Of course, it was written clearly when booking, and it is strictly enforced and it is not against the rules, but I was in other places Basically, other hotels have leeway. For example, if you go earlier, they will let you check in as long as there is a room. At least you don’t have to go early, but this hotel doesn’t allow you to check in at 3:00 or 2:59, because The key in your email cannot be used until three o'clock. Anyway, I would like to remind everyone that if you really care about this, don't stay here. Especially if you arrive early, you really need to wait outside the door until 3 o'clock. Because it is a self-service, there are no staff, and no one will care about you. This is the case for me.

I had a single room which was warm and comfortable. Curtains instead of sheers would have been helpful as I was woken earlier than expected due to the light. The amenities were clean, plenty of instructions and easy to use. Would stay here again. The entrance and room code worked perfectly.

This is the nicest hostel I've ever experienced. The entire hostel was tidy and equipped with everything for a really enjoyable stay. We had a nice view of the bay, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the hosts were incredibly kind. Would definitely go back, and recommend to anyone looking for a stay in Oamaru!

Spent last night at this backpacker hostel, I paid for an en suite room which was spotlessly clean and tidy. Security was good as we're the facilities. The hostel is positioned very central to the town with a fantastic view over the Harbour. Highly recommended

Outstanding double room with shared bathroom. The hostel is fantastic the decorations are wonderful All the information you want Wonderful kitchen and dining area. Good parking and close to town. Comfortable bed and awesome pillows

Lovely big room with an industrial sea view. Awesome location within walking distance to lots of cafes, a brewery, the wharf and beach, Steampunk Museum and the awesome Oamaru Botanical Gardens. Amazing facilities and large common areas with lovely big windows out to the ocean. Vege garden and glasshouse in front of the property, and we were encouraged to help ourselves to fresh produce by the very kind and welcoming owner. Thanks so much for having us!

Would not recommend. Walls are very thin so i could hear the guests next door coughing all night. The hostel was not up to standard in terms of cleanliness and the breakfast was very underwhelming. Would not stay again and would not recommend.
