My wife and I visited The Landing in August for our anniversary! The landing had such great employees that were ready to serve you. The food was great! The rooms were clean and spotless! Housekeeping were attentive with every little thing. You can tell how much pride they have making sure the rooms were kept up with and how much they paid attention to cleanliness. We will definitely come again, without hesitation. Thank you.

A great location at a reasonable price. Our room, a queen bed on the ground floor, was comfortable. The bed was soft, the towels were fluffy, there was excellent lighting in both the bedroom and the bathroom. Both shower and toilet had good water pressure. The air conditioner was efficient and quiet. Hot breakfasts weren't available yet per COVID. The hotel has laundry facilities as well as an ice machine and soda machine. There is free parking but when the hotel is crowded, space is limited. It's a short walk to the beach and a nominal fee of $5 and a short walk to the ******s if that's your thing.

Just spent a week at this resort. We had a one bedroom unit. The location is fantastic...right in the middle of the Heavenly Resort area....two blocks to the casino and a few blocks to the lake (albeit a $25.00 per person charge). This was a great base for hiking (must go to Emerald Bay!) and all other activities. The music and bands at night in Heavenly Village were great. Just walk right out your door and you are in the middle of everything. The whole area is very crowded on the weekends. The only problem is parking....you must Valet Park for $32 a day (however, if you trade in or are an owner, the fee is waived). Just walk through Heavenly Village to get to Ralley's Supermarket. There you find everything you need for food, drinks, etc. The workers at the resort were really very nice. I honestly can't think of a thing that was negative.

It is a motel that has been refurbished, and the decoration is very trendy. The room is very warm, with heating and cooling air-conditioning and gas-fired heating embedded in the wall. There is still sound when the heating starts, but it is much quieter than the heating under the window. The location is not bad, in the downtown area of South Lake Tahoe, you can walk to the entrance of the heavenly cable car if you go skiing. The room was clean, the bathroom was nice, and the bed was medium to soft but comfortable. The disadvantage is that there is a lot of noise after going to bed at night, heavy footsteps in the corridor, knocking on doors in other rooms, etc. There is no microwave in the room, and there is a charge for using the microwave in the restaurant. The motel is very good, but if the budget is sufficient, try to live in a better place.

This hotel is the most cost-effective one since coming to the United States so many times! For skiing friends, this hotel is the best choice. The location is right next to the Heavenly Ski Resort, about 2 minutes' walk. The hotel has a parking service, free of charge, and of course free tip. The price of more than 200 RMB per night is super value, and there is no one and only one! The room is large, at least it can accommodate 4 people, the room is a big bed, the living room is a sofa bed, there is a spa bath between the room and the living room that can accommodate three or four people, the room is clean, the microwave and refrigerator are complete, the lobby front desk also helps me Print documents for free, friendly staff, and take the initiative to introduce how to rent skis. While I rarely am one to write reviews, my family and I were so amazed by the service that I had to make an exception. From beginning to end everything was phenomenal. To start, the bell service was top notch. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful to ensure our trip got to a good start. Our car and bags were treated as if it were their own. The restaurants were great as well. We had a nice dinner and drinks at Landshark and then Joe Merchantâs was great to get a bite before we hit the slopes. Location was perfect as well! It was a quick walk to the gondola and also near the ******s. Overall this was perfect for our familyâs first trip to Tahoe! We will definitely be sure to come here again!

I spent five days here for a business trip and was really disappointed. The hotel itself looked very nice and was kept extremely clean, which is a huge plus. However the rooms could certainly use some work. I stayed in a king bed room and was expecting the bed to be somewhat comfortable. This was not the case. The bed was bumpy, lumpy and as felt as if I was sleeping on the box spring. The walls are insanely thin. I could hear full conversations from the other occupants on either side of me and was graciously woken up every morning by the sounds of either the wake up calls or their individual phone alarms. Not only that, the toilets flushing and showers from the bedroom above me. So all in all, the hotel wasnât awful but certainly needs either some upgrades in the way of beds and noise. I would stay here again only if there wasnât anything else available.

My wife and I went during the week, when the hotel is not very busy. For the price, our room was comfortable and spacious. Our bed was very comfortable and enabled us to sleep well. The hotel was quiet; the crowd was older and did not disturb us at all. The maid did an excellent job of providing a clean environment in room 250. Everything was in good working order. Hot water arrived immediately in the shower. Valet service is available to move luggage, but one may need to ask for assistance at the front desk. We used the jacuzzi and swimming pool. The two jacuzzi are kept at different temperatures to optimize guest comfort. One is 101 and the other is 104 degrees. The water features are indoors, so they can be used any day of the year. Parking ias ample and close in. Covered parking is limited. The hotel has two restaurants. One is a cafe and the other is fine dining. Reservations are recommended for fine dining. The hotel also has a coffee bar that sells donuts and snacks. Traveler Alert: if you are driving from California on a week day, U.S. 50 has no open restrooms between Fresh Pond and South Lake Tahoe. Expect delays from one lane traffic control and flag men. No restaurants or gas stations were open beyond Fresh Pond. Long stretches had reduced speed limits posted. On State Route 88, we had the same problem between Minden and Pine Grove. The 76 Union Station east of Pine Grove would not allow us to use their restroom either, so we will do no business there in the future. Interstate 80 is recommended as a reliable alternative.

GGuest UserBooked the stay at the Station House Inn for the Christmas week. The room was very nicely decorated and cozy. We didnât have any issue with the room but with the staff. We had to extend our stay by extra two nights because we were snowed in. On December 28th we were checking out. The office opens at 8:00 AM but no one was at the front desk. We didnât think much of it as it snowed a lot the previous night, we thought the staff were running late. While looking through locked door, a staff member unlocked the door and asked what we needed. Told him that we were checking out and he told us to just give him the keys and he would give the keys to the other staff. Everything was fine until January 8th when I checked my credit card. Initially when checking in, they told us that there will be $100 hold on the credit card, which will be released. Normal practice and did not think much of it at the time. To my surprise on January 8th the charge was still on the card. I thought it was an error so I called the Station House Inn and spoke to Edith on the phone. I have never been treated so rudely over the phone in my life. She told us that when the house keeping checked the room that day, the comforter for the king bed was missing. This was outrageous and we were positive that we did not take anything. She goes on and on that people people take things from the room all time. I told her if I can dispute this, as I was positive I did not take anything from the room. She said that the she confirmed with house keeping and she was certain that we had taken the comforter. I was upset and hung up and had my girlfriend call. After my girlfriend speaking with Edith, had the fees reversed. Its no even about the $100 but the way she assumed that we stole something in the room. If they were to have either taken the picture of the room on the day off or called to let us know, it would have made the situation a lot better. I know that they only have my words to go by, but also I only have their words to go by as well. How are they so certain that they did not make the mistake with the room numbers? The rooms were nice but not sure if I would ever stay here again! Take a picture of the room before you checkout!

GGuest UserFirst the good things: The bed is comfortable, the location is good and it is quiet. The description is very misleading. We have never seen the owner/operator. Check-in is done thru the phone. Except they sent the code and the check-in instructions to the wrong number, so we were pretty frustrated when there was nobody to talk to. Finally got someone on the phone and he sent the instructions to the right phone number. Room is very plain. Nothing fancy. The A/C unit in the window is not great. The fridge in the room was pretty good. The shower is tiny and has fancy dispenser for shampoo, conditioner and body wash - except it does not work. There was one tiny bar of soap and two tiny tubes of body wash. There is no breakfast. There is a room with coffee on the first floor. But you have to call the person to get a code for the door in order to open it. Why not give it at check-in? The hot tub is not operational. The big surprise was when we got back to the room after a whole day of hiking to find out that the room was not serviced, and there was no soap or body wash. Again had to call to be told that to have the room serviced you have to request it. It would be nice to have that communicated ahead of time, instead of trying to chase soap and body wash after a full day of hiking. In general, it is quite strange not to see any motel personnel at all during the entire visit of 3 nights.

GGuest UserI've stayed here 4 times and has always been a solid place. It looks to be an older motel that has been nicely renovated. The rooms are clean and comfortable (and fairly modern). The hotel is dog friendly but I haven't noticed any pet messes are heard any dog noises during my stays. The location is the selling point. 3 block walk to the beach (there is a fee but the hotel has deeply discounted tickets) and a 3 block walk to the ******s/Heavenly. Surprisingly quiet given its location. I found it the first time through the Hotel Tonight app which had a super cheap rate. This time I booked in advance on another site because I was going during a very busy week and didn't want to risk not getting a room there. Just for fun, I checked the Hotel Tonight app on the day I arrived and the room was $75 cheaper than what I had booked. It's worth trying that approach if you are flexible. Word of warning, the WIFI has been terrible during every stay. Not a huge problem though as you need to get outside and enjoy the Lake. If you are in Tahoe and working, you probably shouldn't be in Tahoe at all :)

GGuest UserGood location, clean, quiet (despite our room facing the road and being at the top of the stairs so lots of people passing by), good breakfast kept fully stocked and very clean by some hard working ladies, all 3 front of house staff we encountered were friendly and polite But I had to make my bed!! They changed the towels ( not necessary after one night) but the making of the bed is apparently not done on stay overs of less than a certain number of days. If itâs a covid, cost saving or staffing issue then second nights should be at a reduced rate. For me itâs a luxury to have someone else make my bed. We think the pool was open but as it had a barrier splitting it in 2 it wasnât worth using as you couldnât have a proper swim Good value however.

GGuest UserThis resort was the fresh breath of air my family member and I needed on our long trip from the East Coast. After a not-so-good hotel stays at another hotel the night before Forest Suites offered quite a few pleasant surprises. The first was when we checked in they had upgraded us to a two-bedroom suite without any additional cost to us. The Room was just amazing my family member and I each had our own bedroom and bathroom there was also a living room and a kitchen with a refrigerator. Outside there was a pool and a Hot Tub and an outdoor fire pit. The Resort was just a few minute walk to the Heavenly Village a great little touristy stop with shops and lots of restaurants there is something for everyone to enjoy. My family member and I stayed there for two nights and I wish we could have stayed longer. What really topped off the experience for me was finding a welcome gift of slippers waiting for me in my bedroom from the Forest Suites Resorts.

Caveat: Iâm used to nicer places. The room was far below what Iâd hoped for. Housekeeping either needs to be paid more so they do a thorough job OR hire new housekeepers because when I find HAIR in the bathroom, bathtub, floor, clogging the shower/tub drain I start feeling sick and really upset. The sink doesnât drain for ages. The toilet came close to overflowing several times. Iâm talking about my son only peeing, flushing the toilet and it came so close to overflowing that my disgust meter elevated. We were about to head out to a concert and the toilet started to come close to overflowing. I pick up the phone to ask for maintenance and (clutches pearls because what did I expect? đŠđ) the PHONE doesnât work. REALLY? I had to call the front desk from my cell phone. After 15 minutes went by and no maintenance person came to fix the toilet, I walked to the front desk and kindly asked again. Another 10 minutes and that was taken care of. Letâs talk bed! Iâm assuming itâs been here for decades. My entire body hurts from the zero support, springy bed. The floor. Either they donât mop or they mop with dirt. Feet and socks filthy from walking in here. The people who work here are helpful and kind. They deserve the single star because this is a dump, the hotel gets two thumbs down, zero stars, do not recommend. So have I convinced you to stay here so you can suffer like we did? Ha! Truly - I donât even want to come back to Tahoe because this turned me off so much.

SStevenPerfect location location location if youâre going there for a luxury resort, keep looking if youâre going there for to have fun outside the room this is a place to be itâs a little dated a little worn out. Itâs a little facelift but you get your moneys worth front desk very accommodating. Have a great time.

Filthy crusty carpets, old scummy restroom, broken down dingy âkitchenetteâ. Kitchenette? What a joke!đ Stove didnât even work which we paid extra for. Paper thin walls and you hear everything!!! Heard the guys conversation next to us all night with his annoying laugh and noisy children. He also smoked right outside our room. How is this allowed?!?! Bad part of town where all the drunk crazy people hang out. Read all the other negative reviews complaining about the same things and be warned!!! Hotel hospitality phone number is a complete scam!! Thereâs no customer service, no manager/supervisor to speak to or respond itâs complete bs!! Donât bother with your fake apology and how customer satisfaction is your highest priority!! More bs!! Customer satisfaction is your priority? Really? Then why havenât you responded to my emails and phone calls or anyone elseâs? Cause you truly donât give a $#!+ about customer satisfaction!! You just write fake apologies to make people think you care. Youâre completely aware that your hotel/motel is a complete $#!+ hole. I read many other negative reviews (unfortunately after my stay) from years ago and youâre still giving the same lame @$$ apologies. Iâll continue to tell everyone how horribly run your establishment is and warn others to never book here. For 160 a night on a weekend you can book so many other nice places!! Donât let them ruin your trip if you stay here they undoubtedly will!
