Holiday Inn Club Vacations Oak N' Spruce Resort

This is a time share/hotel type. They don't serve food, but the grocery is just a few minutes away. It will be a nice room for a family of four. Clean and close to our destination.

Nice quiet place to spend the weekend, they have all the amenities you could need.

The staff was very friendly and knowlegable. The property was beautiful. Our room was spacious, clean and cute. Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms was great, having 2 adults and 4 kids. The kids loved the pools and the arcade. The only thing I didnt like was having to climb 3 stories to our room during a snowstorm. Not the hotels fault it was cold, but an elevator would have been nice. We will definitely be heading back and I will keep recommending this place to friends and family.

Expectations for the price were far better than anticipated!! The room (more like a well furnished and equipped 1 bedroom apartment) was uniquely decorated in accordance to its rustic mountainside location...The only negative comment was how quickly the hot water ran out in either of the 2 full bathrooms in our suite.

Get food elsewhere.

Worst hotel experience of my life! After checking in, room was fine, dated but clean, my 14 year old daughter and I went to play volleyball for a bit, there were a lot of scary looking people walking around, I don’t know if they were even staying there or not, and a strange man was saying odd things to us which didn’t feel safe, so we went to the pool which was too crowded and had kids screaming and going wild, so we went back to the room and were watching tv and eating dinner, this was about 9 pm and all of a sudden we hear the biggest boom like someone was trying to bust in the door which is a glass pained door, it shook the whole house and scared my daughter and I to death. We honestly thought we were being bombed or there was an earthquake! We didn’t know what to do so we went into the other room and it happened again, boom someone barreling through the door. I was so frightened I didn’t know if I should call 911 or security. So I use the house phone to call the front desk and it took them at least 20 minutes to come. The guy looked around, but said he didn’t see anything and maybe it was a drunk person or teens. We said ok and made sure all the doors were looked with the extra metal lock, even though the maintenance guy said “they could just break that off”(that made us feel safe), He says he’ll look around again and then leaves. Twenty minutes later same thing, boom on the glass back door I’m not talking a knock, I’m talking a battering ram sound! Boom! I call again and tell them they to switch my room or something, I would have gone home 3 hours away if I didn’t have to be there the next day. So we go to the front desk and the girl was completely unapologetic even though we were both shaking and rattled to say the least and she was like yeah never heard of that happening before. As a widowed Mom traveling alone with my daughter I can’t tell you how terrifying this was! They switched our room but we both didn’t sleep all night and will have PTSD for life! Do better Holiday Inn Vacations!! Im not one to complain, but this was an absolute nightmare!

Great place for all the family- great room with nice amenities.don’t have to much dining options on the resort- no available breakfast even with extra pay and nothing in a walking distance. Also the tv is with cables and dvd- no smart tv
