Nearly an hour's drive from London. Manor-like hotel. All the food and drink are produced on the own farm. The hotel's restaurant has the longest two Michelin stars in the UK. It has an excellent environment and excellent service.

This trip was to celebrate two birthdays (50th and 60th) and a wedding anniversary. We decided to combine into one memorable occasion at Le Manoir; we were not disappointed. Everything was perfect, (including the weather!) in the glorious surroundings of the well tended gardens. The room was beautifully appointed. In the evening we had the tasting menu, the flavours and textures beyond anything we have experienced before. It is a great deal of money, and for us a once only experience but will never be forgotten.

We were lucky enough to visit here for a very special occasion, the hotel, gardens and rooms were beautiful and the food (7 course tasting menu) was exceptional. All the team went out of their way to look after us. It was exceptional and the memories will last a lifetime.

Our second visit and it was as wonderful as the first visit. Every aspect of our stay was perfect. The gardens are a sheer joy. Staff are delightful and nothing is to much trouble. Our room was beautiful. The food at breakfast, lunch and dinner was delicious. We particularly appreciated a different tasting menu on each night. The lemon cake is heavenly. Even a gorgeous cat strolling round like lord of the Manoir!

An amazing getaway, pricey but worth it. The rooms are fantastic, the staff attentive without being overwhelming, the food is amazing. The gardens are stunning, with the ponds and organic vegetable plots being the highlights.
