La Copa Inn Beach Hotel

Main swimming pool floor needs repair and itd be nice if they had a machine to make change to be able to do laundry since they dont have change up front at the front desk. The overall stay was great and its in a awesome location to easily access the beach from the pool. The staff was super nice and had great suggestions for the family to go eat and fun activities to do around the area. It was a awesome experience.

I choose this hotel because of the location. Right on the beach and walking distance to food and shopping. This hotel is very family friendly, great for little kids. The hotel is an older facility but staff is always cleaning. Restrooms are constantly being cleaned. Staff is extremely friendly. Breakfast was very good and the poolside restaurant. I would definitely recommend to friends and family. We will be returning.

If you are a young, budget restricted family this may be a good fit for you. But couples and senior citizens should really think twice. Small, crowded pool full of kids, noisy rooms (kids running in the halls way past the resorts suggested quiet time, dogs in pool area (although resorts signage prohibits, sporadic housekeeping (clearly overextended). At the time of this post oil/tar all over the beach (obviously no fault of the resort) but tough on beach ware. The resort offers a family friendly breakfast with convenient hours. The small poolside provides tasty, affordable snacks/meals. And the staff there were always courteous and efficient.The cost of $40 for umbrella and two beach chairs from 9 to 6 seems fair compared to wagging personal beach set up back and forth. On site star bucks was a nice surprise and the gift shop was well stocked and reasonably priced. The location of the resort was convenient to the bridge to Port Isabel where the best restaurants are now all located. Several guests told us this and we found it to be true. Other reviews said parking was problematic, we did not not find it to be a problem at all. This resort was not a good fit for us or the other couples ( age 60 +) in our group due to noise, crowds and LARGE number of kids. But maybe perfect for young fnot aamilies.

Cute hotel, right on the water. My room was very clean and the cleaning staff is always on it! Breakfast is enough to get you full. Pool was clean. The hot tub get HOT! I liked the location a lot.

The hotel is looking run down and shabby. Room service was horrible. We requested additional blankets etc. and never received them. Eventually we went to the lobby to get them ourselves. I have fond memories from prior visits to this hotel but in future visits, I will not be staying at the La Copa.

Had a great time at La copa inn! Staff was very nice and friendly. Had straight access to the beach. Overall was wonderful!

My family and I have been staying at this hotel for many years, this hotel has had some remodeling and the rooms are beautiful and spacious, the staff and I mean all we welcoming and friendly. The rooms were especially clean! The breakfast they serve is the best. Thank you

Hotel was at good location was very clean and staff was very helpful. Beach was in perfect walking distance. The best part was that the pool was heated so after letting them play in the cold ocean we cleaned off the sand in the outside shower and enjoyed the warm pool. The only issue we had was the beds. They were broken I mean so loud you could hear the springs in the bed. Every time you moved it would wake up the whole room.

Staff is very friendly , and hotel is clean. Overall hotel is just outdated and old. Room was very small and felt crowded.
