After several airline delays my husband and I finally made it to Portland. We appreciated the airport shuttle and the ease of checking in on our phone. Exhausted we got to our room to sleep. After turning down the blankets we discovered several long black hairs (neither of us have black hair) and small, curly black hairs (I’ll let you guess what kind of hair this is). Too tired to move rooms, we stripped the bed of the dirty bedding and used the bedding meant for the pull out bed. There was complimentary breakfast the next morning, but you get what you pay for (or don’t). Upon check out we told the front desk staff about the dirty linens who seemed more embarrassed than apologetic. I also took Hiltons review and a sales manager reached out to me letting me know, “ We are sharing your feedback with our housekeeping team to ensure that this does not happen again in the future. ” And offered me a whole 5k points ( just for reference a room is around 60k points or more). I wouldn’t stay here again. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere clean.
