THANK GOD we were upgraded to another hotel (Home 2, which was very nice!) due to supposed mechanical issues I believe she said, but pulling up to it, my friend said no way was she going to stay here. It looked MUCH better online, you DO NOT want to stay here. We also thought they maybe had some type of housing going on here and not so much overnight travelers. The front desk gal was very nice and called up by name and said ******* had arranged this upgrade for us at the same cost, where we ended up with a suite next to each other and were very happy with that!

Nice hotel and friendly staff, there was a little "activity" when we checked in, police and then paramedics. The area seemed a little sketchy but that's not Howard Johnson's fault. The breakfast was decent but the seating area was a little small. We didn't use the pool but it looked very nice. Our room was clean and comfortable! I would stay here again.

The property had bad wifi signal depending which room you get. I had to request to switch to a different room because the wifi was terrible in my room. I would give the free breakfast a 3/5 rating. the hallways were dirty and dusty. idk if they were renovating. the access to the back was always closed. would've been nice not to walk all the way to the front if your room is in the back. it was a decent stay overall since other nicer hotels in the area were fully booked at the time.
