Rooms were dirty and not cleaned at all, covered in mould and it smelt awful the minute you walked in. Linen was dirty and worn. We had to wear shoes at all times within the room because of how dirty they were. Had to go buy cleaning supplies, we would have requested a refund and moved hotels had there of been any availability elsewhere.

Overall good but more attention could be given to routine maintenance. Furniture is starting to break up. The lift was not working well with the room card. and the fire alarm went off with a false alarm.

Stayed at the Metropole which proved to be a good location next to the Port. Clean quality comfortable rooms. Well appointed apartment suited also for a longer stay. Plenty of off street parking. Easy check in and check out. I will return.

Had to come down for training at Sims metals to learn more how the company works and the oaks hotel made me feel at home and thank you alot ay...... Hope to see yous later on down the track.... So keep smile oaks yous are doing a deadly job

Was very happy that I got the last-minute room. The room did need maintenance but was given achiever price which I was very happy with. We stayed there because of the cyclone and our power had gone out and I’ve got a 13 month old daughter and she was getting too much heat so it really helped us out and the cheaper price was really good as well. I was happy with thatonly issues were I had to move the couch and a few other things around, so my daughter had an area to play and underneath the couches and stuff hadn’t been vacuumed. Clean comfy and beautiful view! Would have liked to have had some form of restaurant or bar, but still it was close to other bars and restaurants. Great , will be back

Nice location with waterfront view, easy walk to nearby restaurants. The room is a bit dated but clean, daily room service was very good. Reception was very friendly.
