The room is large, has a terrace and a wide view. The kitchen is fully equipped, as well as a washer and dryer; in the bathroom, as expected, you must bring your own mouthwash supplies, and slippers are not provided. There are fewer shops nearby at night. There is a convenience store at the subway station next to it, but it is not open permanently. There is a supermarket about ten minutes' walk away that is open until midnight.

First of all, the location of the hotel is not very good. It is not in the CBD.

The service is very good and very enthusiastic, but there is obviously not enough staff. There is only one person in charge of the front desk and room service.
The room is very large, with one bedroom, one living room, one balcony, one kitchen and one toilet. There is a washing machine and dryer.
But the facilities are very old, dirty and dilapidated. The room has a very uncomfortable smell. The wifi is very, very slow.
The bedding was not good and it was uncomfortable to sleep on.
All in all, I don’t recommend everyone to stay here.

The location was very convenient as it was close to the station. It was right next to the railroad tracks, but the noise didn't bother me.
Regarding the service, they did not come to clean the room according to the service information provided on the paper when I checked in.
The shower room was dusty and not very comfortable.
The windows were not curtains, but roll curtains, so the inside was completely visible from the outside.
The amenities did not include a toothbrush and slippers. I didn't have detergent to wash the dishes, so I called and was asked to come to the lobby to take pictures. I had just taken a bath and was wearing night clothes, so I went to pick it up the next morning.

We did not even stay there we walked away - we could not it was so terrible the staff were so unprofessional - out agent had booked two adjacent (or so we thought ) and we got 2 x small rooms (not studios in different buildings - no living room a small bed for two of us and a tiny bathroom - a balcony with a view of someone else’s bedroom. - the flowers in reception were dead and sitting in dirty old water - the whole set up was less than 2 star and terrible value for money - no view - shabby and very disappointing - luckily we found - Exclusive stays at the Sky building which was 50 yards sone the road ! Apartment here was amazing - same price and a great view and finally we found somewhere else - we walked away from Punthill - terrible

First time at South Yarra and we hoped it was better than Punthill in Flinders Lane which has gone backward over the years. Hopes were dashed. At least the appartments have rooms and carpet unlike some places with open design. But maintenance is poor and service is pathetic for more than one or two night stays. After three days we requested the room be serviced and only got some garbage emptied and towels replaced. No top up of toiletries or tea/coffee. Used toiletries deliberately left on the shower floor was ignored. Kitchenette is minimal with limited pans, cutlery and crockery limited to three items. Reception is polite but attended from a back room on demand. They have an ineffective taxi online order system that is not reliable. No doubt I’ll get one of their standard responses to this review saying ‘thanks and we will look into it’s. But I doubt anything will change for the better.
