this hotel is very strict about their deposits. if its within the 21 day window (even during the off season) they will retain the entire deposit even if you try to cancel immediately. there is really no functional way to get the money back or defer your trip to a future date. i have had similar service at Spirit Airlines.

We loved everything about the Sag Harbor Inn! In addition to the qualities already mentioned, it was light and bright in the room, unlike most other hotels. Breakfast was very nice and coffee, tea and hot chocolate were available 24 hrs. Ean was very friendly and the feeling was warm and homey. Everything was VERY CLEAN!!

Very friendly check-in/check/out, woke up to expansive view of the harbor. We literally just slept there, but it is perfectly situated to walk and explore Sag Harbor.
