Great choice. Room sparkling clean, delightful hosts who really look after you. Freshly cooked full breakfast on order. Half mile from Southampton central station, walk mostly downhill to the station. There is a pub nearby with good food and beverages.

We stayed at this lovely guest house for the weekend, the family room was clean and the beds were so comfortable. Breakfast was beautifully cooked . The owners were so helpful and friendly. We will definitely be returning to this little gem.

Can’t fault this great little B&B which isn’t too far from the centre of Southampton. In fact it was a 25 minute walk to St. Mary’s Stadium at the other side of the city centre. A warm welcome, a spotless and comfortable room was topped off by an absolutely tremendous breakfast. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Free parking and wi-fi a bonus.

Went to see Steve Hackett at the Mayflower - Brilliant!! Checked in at Fenland Guest House and was greeted by a very welcoming lady host. We booked a family room, with ensuite bathroom on the ground floor. It was large, cosy and clean (tea making facilities, toiletries and TV). Lots of local information provided in welcome pack. Although the guest house is located on a main road by traffic lights, we could not hear the traffic outside. The bed was huge and very comfortable and we both slept like logs. In the morning we were greeted by the Gentleman host who showed us to a seat and took our breakfast order. He was very friendly and attentive. We both ordered a full English breakfast with tea, toast and coffee. Breakfast was delicious, table service and home made. The whole experience restores my faith in the good old fashioned B&B, brilliant value for money. It is located within walking distance of the Mayflower. I would recommend this Guest House to anyone planning on visiting Southampton. I would definitely go there again 😁😁😁😁😁

Host was charming, and checkout was OK, room was lovely, towels on the bed, tea coffee sugar In room with complementary gels, 1 toilet and shower room for 8 rooms, not ideal, guest house is located on a busy road, so if your in a room there ,keep window closed, shower was poor only a trickle and water didnt flow away properly, breakfast was served too early for us on a Sunday 8 till 9,no good for us, overall it done a job for the night, but I'm afraid we wouldn't return.
