I lost my earphones. It was clearly there on my mobile phone, but the hotel didn’t give me any help and was not responsible. I went to look for the earphones with a high-spirited attitude, and whoever ordered it complained. Both the shower gel and shampoo an unknown liquid

Stayed here after going to the theatre in the evening. It was a perfect location to walk to and from the theatre and had some good restaurants around.

Excellent location for O2 Guildhall and exploring this interesting city. Rooms immaculately clean and comfortable. Special mention to the manager who was extremely helpful with any questions. The usual efficient and excellent Premier breakfast. Thoroughly recommend.

The place is good for station shops and town all walkable. arrival at 10 .15 Easter Sunday to book in people having breakfast .2 boys playing football in reception hitting ceiling drinks machine no staff told them to stop 5 on duty .got to room very musty smell in room a quick spray of perfume that’s better quite at night don’t know if we will stay again we always do when we cruise maybe looking at different hotels now

We always rely on premier inns all over the country - I’d rate this one about average. Got to reception, nobody there, and the bell didn’t work - ‘it broke last night’ apparently…. Room was ok - paintwork a bit tired. The bathroom had mould all round the bottom of the glass screen….easily rectified with a cheap mould cleaner and 20 minutes work! The rest of the room was tidy enough. We got 1 big and 1 small towel (for 2 people!) so had to ask for another…little things, but they all add up. Maybe time for a refresh at this place…..

£91 for a nights stay for 2. Only 1 set of towels in the room. No phone to call down to reception and when we went down there wasn’t anyone available. Unable to open the window and the lowest the room went was 19 degrees so the room was uncomfortably hot so not a great sleep

The room itself was perfect bed was comfortable etc, perfect working shower etc. Customer service a lot to be desired. I wanted to do an early check in. I was sent to a room that was not fully serviced. I was going out anyway even though the guy who checked me in did offer to move me to another room. So I was happy to stay in that room as long as it was serviced once I returned. When I returned it was in the same state. The duty manager taking over give him his dues apologised and got me moved to a prepared room. Went for dinner three nights of my four night stay. They didn't have everything on the menu each night. The last night the duty floor manager he was also on Friday morning breakfast, the chairs and tables in the dining room had more personality. The Tuesday and Wednesday evening duty manager was pleasant and the ond who sorted out the room issue for me top marks for him. The young guy cooking the breakfasts on Thursday and Friday was probably the most friendliest staff member out of all. Costs nothing to smile and say goodmorning to customers and ask if theyve a busy day ahead, a lot of staff could learn from this. The general manager I think did to be fair if he served you. Would I go back, maybe for room only definitely. I know they class themselves as a budget hotel, nut higher end budget, budget or top class five star I would still expect friendly customer service.
